Both teams should be highly motivated to win this game.

PHX got embarrassed in ATL, and CHI couldn't drop it in Lake Michigan against LV.

I hope Stevens is elevated to starter. Emma needs to come off the bench for a bit.

We stunk it up so badly on Saturday - it looked worse than the first half of last season! Embarassed

The start time is now in the midst of rush hour!

It's Pride Night. Let's see if some of us can come away doubly proud! Cool

Chicago should be a heavy favorite...Playing at home, better starting lineup and a better bench.......We need to start being honest with ourselves...Phoenix has a couple of nice players but there are about 6-7 teams that just have more talent and are better coached:

Connecticut
Chicago
Washington
Los Angeles (Fisher isn't a good coach, but he's done a great job at stacking talent)
Seattle
Las Vegas
Dallas

Yes, Phoenix needs to play better...but even if they get their shyt together, they still have major issues (New Coach/New system, SDS probably not liking her new role, DT being 39/40 yrs old, No low post presence. No quality bench depth, poor leadership)

I think Phoenix can still make the playoffs as a 7/8th seed...but they'll do it with a sub .500 record.

So the Peckster just totally blamed Nygard for Phoenix' problems.

Can we get an exact quote for context?

She didn't say Nygard's name. But it was to the effect that Phoenix has all these great players who are used to winning so they expect good leadership to keep winning. There was no blame on those great players, just the leadership doesn't match up to them. And there was not-so-subtle ringing her own bell about how she knows about coaching...

Love DT but that is a fair ejection. You can't do that.

Did lol at Sophie chuckling with her after the ejection.

After that, the SDS three attempt was really ugly. Like 'what the shit, I'll just heave it up there'

It looks like they should just let Diamond drive every time. Chicago hasn't shown that they can stop her. The outside shots just haven't been falling.

I doubt the league actually does something but I think a 1 game suspension is deserved after that. You shouldn't be able to absolutely berate and challenge an official like that and just get off easy. Took her time leaving the court as well.

And the only thing the official can do in that moment is walk away....

Laughing ..Again...Diamond drives to the basket at the end of the half and doesn't get the foul call...Sloot clearly fouled DD with her body.

I hope all the doors have been removed. Black plastic flaps will do until she leaves.

I'm not quite sure what Chicago is doing. I just need them to get themselves together. Btw, where is Z?

Edit: Non-COVID illness *le sigh*

Gracious, Chicago needs to find some energy for the 4th!

According to Pam Ward, Dana Evans turned herself into quite a 3 point shooter at... DePaul. Rolling Eyes

So, DT gets kicked out....I go on twitter to gloat for a good 20 mins, and now Chicago has blown its lead, and Phx is winning. The hell.

This SKY team... Oh, and Parker want to contribute on the offensive end any time now. Rolling Eyes I swear when Stevens comes back healthy, CP could come off the bench. I'm serious.

Chicago's frontline looks old and slow without Stevens.

So the Mercury have looked a lot better since DT got ejected. Correlation or Causation?
