Also surprised no one took Staiti.

I disagree about Pointer. She had a fantastic season.

Same. Pointer is great. Nepotism definitely helped her though, it looks like. Laughing

Just back from the gym.

I see Fargas nepotism showing loud and proud.

Indy got Henny at 20 I'm happy I was waiting for her to go. But you took all that front court in the first round? I guess they think some might not make it.

Naz Hillmon is a good fit for the Dream

My mock draft pick #7 wasn't too crazy after all. But in all honesty, I would've taken Bell. She was gone by the time my turn came. Maybe they are going to do something with MoJeff or Harris.....or not

I think at 13 it was a stretch. Toward the end of the second round, ok, but what they really need are bigs. Cubaj or Cunane would have made much more sense there.

Or Que Morrison....she brings good D, shooting, smarts etc. Like you said maybe an invite. Or if all fails make big money overseas

Phoenix drafted Dodson. Is she the mirror image of Turner in terms of their playing styles?🤔

Gets hard? It’s been hard for y’all. :/

I like the Destanni Henderson 2nd-round steal, that was a bright spot for y’all.

Texas Tech’s Vivian Gray not getting drafted was also a slight surprise. She wasn’t a good 3PT shooter at all, but she has decent size at 6-1 for a wing player, and 20 PPG at the Power-5 level isn’t nothing (well, we’ll see if Megan Gustafson makes the Mystics’ roster this year, I suppose). She & Natasha Mack used to be the big 1-2 punch at Oklahoma State. Times change, though.

what would you have taken? I thought they did pretty well. Egbo was crazy but otherwise they did fine and getting Henderson at 20 was really amazing.

To be fair, if I thought Egbo, Hull, and maybe even Engstler were all reaches in the Top-10, I’d be pretty upset as well.

Egbo definitely is. Hull I had in the Top-10, I think, but 6 was a little high. Her at 10 and Engstler at 6 would’ve been better, with someone like Bell or even Sabally at 4.

both Bell and Sabally are bigger ? marks. Bell because of coming from a non-P5 environment and her defense is suspect and Sabally because of her injury history. I think Engstler and Hull are more known in terms of what you will get and lord knows they need wings so if one or both make a difference, they have won.

Only when Fisher does fishy things...which is most of the time. This draft, for instance...all four draftees could make the roster and the team neither improve nor get worse.

here is something I thought I would never say
NY has too many posts

Shook and Willoughby (Maybe Richards or even Onyenwere) should worry about job security, coaches seem to like their picks

Ionescu/Whitcomb
Laney/Richards
Allen/Onyenwere/Willoughby
Howard/pick two Shook, Cubaj or Kone
Dolson/Sabally

If Seattle goes 12 I could see both Cunane and Westbrook make it, probably not but

Bird/Janaury
Loyd/Prince/Westbrook
G. Williams/Burke
Stewart/Lavander
Russell/Magbegor/Cunane

seems possible, if 11 then so long Westbrook, but you probably still need a place holder until Gabby gets back from France

Durr, Kea or Johannes could in theory knock off Willoughby or Richards
Durr is a question of health
Johannes is a question of showing up
and Kea is a question of does Brondello value another kind of PG over a wing
