I like Engstler more than Naz Hillmon or NaLyssa Smith as an all-around player. Tough game for her.

Can't beat SCar if you hit zero 3pt shots and only 4-7 FT's.

That was the game right there: 1-8 for Louisville at the 3 compared to 6-17 for South Carolina; 4-7 at the free throw line for the Cardinal compared to 12-17 for the Gamecocks. 5 extra points from the 3-pt. line, and 8 extra points from the charity stripe. That's 13 extra total points for South Carolina, who won the game 72-59........

Louisville could have the lowest “rotation height” of any final four team in history.

SoCaro has not faced a team this whole tournament that had any height. They definitely had the bracket set up for them. That will however change tomorrow, whether it's UConn or Stanford.

South Carolina has played every other team in the Final Four, and is 3-0 this season against them.

They played 5 of the 7 other Elite Eight teams, and is 5-0 against them.

They played 9 of the 15 other Sweet Sixteen teams, and is 9-0 against them.

They will be OK.......

I swear I hate ESPN sometimes.....do we really need a long shot of this girl Emily crying after fouling out? And, we certainly didn't need a split screen while the game was going on.

I'm pretty sure ESPN is convinced that athlete tears cure cancer and end world hunger.

I get the drama of it all but it is ridiculous! Please give these players space to release.

Btw, is it just me or has Holly been.. a little...hmm off as of late? I know that she is the haaaardest working woman in sports but between the strange free agency special energy and comments and today's story about Boston's family (the TV crew didn't know how to follow that up at all), I'm like Holly, please filter the tea, ma'am!!

As impressive the offensive output was against Creighton in the Elite Eight, they had a poor defense so that was not unexpected. But tonight was against what was the 16th-ranked Scoring Defense for the Cardinal. South Carolina still shot 47.4% for the game, and all 5 starters scored in double digits.

So South Carolina has faced:

1st Rd: 112th Howard (MEAC) - scored 79 pts
2nd Rd: 62nd Miami (ACC) - scored 49 pts
Sweet Sixteen: 21st N. Carolina (ACC) - scored 69 pts
Elite Eight: 192nd Creighton (Big East) - scored 80 pts
Final Four: 16th Louisville (ACC) - scored 72 pts
Championship: 14th Connecticut (Big East) or 36th Stanford (Pac-12) - ???

Apparently South Carolina's offense improves the further from Columbia they get
