Stay bitter.

Win or lose, Louisville looks like a pain in the ass to play against. It’s like gnat defense.

Leigha Brown is sidelined. Re-aggravated the foot injury that kept her out during the month of February.

Louisville is an interesting matchup. Game will depend on South Carolina’s guards ability to not turn the ball over.

If they can limit turnovers, Boston will dominate though.

The thing is, the anyone but UConn crowd have bias too. Wink

Let’s not talk about the 8 wide open mid range baskets NC State gave Paige, or sitting Diamond, or wasting a timeout…nah, UConn only won because they played in an arena 80 miles from their campus. Laughing

Congrats Louisville, outstanding game by them.

Didn’t know Van Lith was another one of Kobe’s mentees. His outreach into wcbb is amazing.

Don’t be too sure. They also have shooting problems at times, and Louisville’s defense is probably as pesky as any I’ve seen in awhile. Michigan looked like they were fighting through a cloud of mosquitoes at times.

Laughing Who ever said that was the only reason that UConn won??

Hillmon's brilliant one trick offensive pony show made her a great college player. However, for the pros, Engstler looks about an inch taller, gets as many rebounds, more assists, mores blocks, and shoots from all over the court including 40% from the three.

I'd consider drafting Sjerven and Engstler over Hillmon as a pro prospect.

Louisville could give S. Carolina a game if they can do a reasonable job on Boston, maintain their intense defensive pressure on the guards, and hit a lot of 3pt shots.

I think Hillmon has the potential to develop but not sure a team will keep her around long enough to do so.

There were a number of possessions in the 4Q tonight where Naz could have taken a relatively uncontested 10-15 foot jumper and instead kicked out to a contested 3 point shooter when the shot clock was about to expire. I would have much rather seen her just take the shot, given the circumstances, because it was the best look Michigan was going to get in those possessions.

There was one time where she had a wide open 3 and path to the basket with no one around her for 10 feet and she didn't even entertain putting the ball on the floor to the basket. She's great at what she does but I don't see her skill set translating to the pros where everyone is taller than her and just as physically strong and athletic.

Hillmon looks to be the size of Maya Moore or Diamond DeShields and I don't see her having a WNBA career as a post player in the WNBA of today. But she is quick and long armed and could be a good project as a three. But since she doesn't even shoot from 10 feet, it would first be mainly for defense.
