The Tree is better at each and every position so...not looking good for the Longhorn. However, I'd sure enjoy eating some good ole' Texas BBQ after the game. I think it will take a near miracle to cut down that Tree again, so I'm going to hold off on placing my order for some ribs, sausage and brisket.

I will acknowledge that Vic Schaefer is a great basketball coach. This man has rescued two separate women's basketball programs that were mired in mediocrity for years. Texas made the correct decision to hire him to be their coach.

Are the game polls not working for anybody else?

They worked for me yesterday. Perhaps they have a deadline starting earlier today, instead of up to the tip-off time for each game they represented??

edit: the McDonald's East-West game poll worked for me just now......

You should never wait until the last minute to vote. The board software isn’t sophisticated enough to end it at the exact game time. The poll expired at 10:34 AM ET.

I couldn't even vote before then, so it doesn't always work.

To be clearer, I expect Stanford to win it all, but will root for a Texas upset because I believe they would be an easier semifinal opponent for UConn if UConn makes it to the FF. So, I'm being selfish not diplomatic.

Rapunzel could be really good if she develops a consistent long shot.

I had to chuckle when Anna Wilson was guarding Lauren Ebo after the switch.

Belibi seems to get a lot of rebounds that just bounce her way.

Ebo has done nothing. No points, assists, blocks, only 3 rebounds, and has gotten blocked numerous times. Is she any good?

Brink has 10 pints and 6 rebounds. Can we say Ebo did her job?

Texas is borderline dirty. Extremely physical. And like to flop. Not a fun game. I'm just glad it appears nobody got hurt.
