And guess what, no matter where the most popular teams go, their fans will follow. The difference won’t be in who the crowd favors, but rather in crowd size.

Then put SC in Bridgeport and UConn in Greenville. If the fans follow, the arenas should be full. Problem solved.

Teams that have national fanbases are supposed to fill up arenas.

UConn's 1Q defense sucked. Indy shot 56%. That won't cut it.

Not to be crappy, but is there a reason people refer to IU as Indy? I've seen others use it and it has always puzzled me.

i guess the same reason its called Indy 500. indy is an abbreviation... Confused

Thanks, however Indy is an abbreviation for Indianapolis, not Indiana.

Indy 500 = Indianapolis 500
UIndy = University of Indianapolis

I think she missed a couple of bunnies. That would make me lose some trust too.

I think she was made out to be a scapegoat. And that may be the elephant in the room regarding Connecticut's prospects for a national title this season. Although I think Dorka has been a workhorse for Auriemma despite all of this - Luigi has just been a stubborn mule about it......

Indiana University, just use IU like everyone else does. Especially when there is already an actual UIndy.

The others are University of Illinois, University of Idaho, University of Iowa. No distinguishing alteration needed.

And how is typing 4 letters easier than 2?

Before I lived in Indiana I didn't realize how prevalent the "IU" acronym is. Now that I live here I couldn't imagine abbreviating Indiana University to anything else.

Iowa, Illinois, and Idaho are all "UI" or "U of I." But as far as I know, Indiana is the only "IU."

I have attended both UI and IU, which is a fun way to confuse people who don't know what I'm talking about. Laughing

It's always fun to get people to not know what you're talking about, then confuse them further...... Very Happy
