Great fight, Tennessee! Belmont was definitely tough! This year's tournament has been a great reminder that there are really good teams throughout the nation. I really hope the networks start to provide greater access to games in these other conferences.

An awful lot of action is squirreled away on ESPN+ for an extra fee. I hate it. I hate all the +s in general. I'm already paying for cable. Now you want me to pay for more?

Nashville is 220 miles from Knoxville. Belmont had a huge crowd there. Also their pep band. It was for all intents and purposes a home game, kinda like when Tennessee plays Vandy in Nashville.

One can’t help but think if Tenn had a healthy Horston and Marta would FF be the expectation? Either way I’m proud of the LVs.

It would with those two and Keyen Green.

+1 _______

If you've paid attention, I've complained about this in every thread that's been close on a higher seeds home floor. UConn also shouldn't be playing at home right now against UCF.

Interesting sidelight: Kevin McGuff’s daughter plays for Belmont.

For the tournament, I'm fine, but for conference seasons, a lot of the mid-majors have ESPN+ deals. Weren't a couple of conference championships consigned to streaming only?

(And yes, there's a difference between ESPN3 and ESPN+, which is annoying and confusing.)

Gritty game of runs.

I'd have loved to see my beloved Ducks in this game, with no real idea of which OR/TN team might have showed up. Belmont had a very different plan, and by golly, they sure as hell did what they needed to do to dance a little longer than most.

Go TN! Go gitchya some Cardinals!
