Will have to wonder how long Creighton can continue to shoot this well. They don't really have an answer for Czinano down low. Plus Clark isn't going to be quiet for long I have to assume.

23-17 CRE end of first

Kolb might want to bring back the 5-out system after watching Creighton. Wink

Iowa can't rebound to save their lives and Creighton is taking advantage of it extremely well.

Also will be interesting to see how much more physicality the refs will let Creighton do on Clark off the ball. I have a gut feeling we will be seeing some fouls called soon.

Pretty exciting 1Q. No danger of shot clock violations.

As hot as they started, Creighton only shot 5-15 from 3. They've been *wide* open, too. If the first quarter is any indication, they'll continue to be wide open. Will they hit enough to win?

Czinano is a machine inside.

But yeah rebounding is a major issue. Creighton's getting a LOT of second chances.

15 minutes in, only Clark and Czinano have scored. The rest of the Hawkeyes are 0-10.

The pace has slowed, but I wonder if Creighton's superior depth may make a difference.

Iowa offers almost no defensive resistance.

Where are all the "Big East Stinks" comments.

Isn't this the same pathetic Creighton from the pathetic BE? Very Happy

Creighton did something similar to this against UConn in the regular season with a lead at half... did they learn anything from that - we will see

I'm watching without sound. Did the ref just give a warning to Blunder?

Yeah... not sure for what though because from my lip reading she didn't say anything to warrant one. Unless they are just giving her one for her complaints the whole half. But seemed like a lazy warning from the official

Shots, shots, shots, shots, shots, shots
Shots, shots, shots, shots, shots
Shots, shots, shots, shots, shots
Everybody

My bracket requires Iowa. As a Big East fan, I would like Creighton to prove that we are more than UConn and the faded reputation of DePaul.

Thanks. I just caught the end of it. That's what it looked like when the ref looked to the right, appeared to say something, pointed at Blunder, then repeated it to the left. One ref should have been to the right and the other to the left. It was the only thing I could think of.

Reasons not to fill out a bracket!! We've seen Michigan lay a few eggs this year; Villanova might have a chance, too.

Iowa's supporting cast was basically a 0. Will that trend continue?

Creighton got second chances and shot well from 3. Will that trend continue?

It’s always fun seeing Clark getting stuffed in the paint.

That was both a carry and a travel on the Iowa steal-layup Rolling Eyes

Refs left their whistles in the locker room

Yikes, they are definitely folding people up in this game! Is it that clean or are they just letting it go? Fun game!

Iowa taking that timeout with .09 to go...will be interesting to see if they want/need it later.
