So Rodan makes her first start of the season, just in time to go head-to-head with Gamera.

Ugh! Lack of aggression pursuing rebounds continues to be my biggest problem with Cambage's game: she just stood there and watched the ball sail over her head, and let Collier get the rebound and putback. SMH

Who are these announcers? This is atrocious. I can't stand announcers that use players nicknames; it seems so unprofessional.

It appears to be Rayshaun Haylock and Allie Clifton.

What about AD? You hate that one?
What about BG? Everybody uses that one. They even unprofessionally use it on every WNBA court as memorial decal.

I can't even believe I'm going to say this, but that cut across the lane is there for Liz all night, if she wants it: McCowan might be the only center in the league who doesn't have the foot speed to keep up with Cambage.

In general they are simply horrible, whatever they call the players. But the 'Slim' nickname annoys me much more than Stewie, BG, AD or any of the others, which are at least related to their actual names.

But the announces go along with the LA players, most of whom I have difficulty actually liking in any way anyway.

They're not making it up. Sykes was called Slim when she played in Atlanta.

Well, would you look at that! I guess that the timer must have run out on my shadowban?

Fascinating that LA has triggered this 10-2 run playing with three posts, and no point guard.

Our defensive stopper is now moonlighting as a PG? Interesting stuff!

WNBA needs their own version of Shaqtin' a Fool, for the last ten seconds of this game.

The Sparks are seriously in need of practice sessions. So many new players, and so few opportunities to establish chemistry on the practice floor with a killer opening season schedule.. It's time for these Ladies to really come together finally.

Dallas could've won that game. They just needed to start Izzy

McGowan will clunk her entire time there.

I'd jack Arike's a*s up for the organization for free for kicking the scorer's table. The team made the great run in the 4th because she was on the bench.

Just caught the end of the game. Lawd Arike, I don’t know which was worse, the fake FT attempt or the kick.

T McCowan seems to regress with each game 😳

Gray is still my favorite player on the Wings roster and it’s not even close.

Nneka is quietly putting together a very good year. She needs outta LA tho cause with Fish at the helm they will be remain a fringe playoff team instead of their usual championship contending self.

That was about a $750 kick, if she doesn’t get a further suspension.
It harkens me back to her embarrassing water bottle incident.

At least she started against Cambage, and Cambage started the game out hot.
McCowan didn’t help herself by coming back after the regular season started with no training camp on a new team. Plus she’s probably tired from not getting any kind of break. Bibb should have seen that coming from a mile away, but maybe he cares more about the long term.

She is a part of that 3x3 Olympic team who are all having great years, except maybe for Dolson.

They’re 5-6 and trending up. I’d be delirious at this point to be 5-6. Third place in commissioner’s cup west.

Hold on a second... their "usual championship contending" selves? The Sparks have missed the playoffs the exact same number of times that they've gotten to the Finals (5) in their franchise history. In the eighteen seasons since they made three straight trips to the Finals, the Sparks have either failed to get out of the second round/conference semifinals or missed the playoffs entirely more times (11) than they have advanced to the league semifinals/conference finals (7). You could make the argument that, talent-wise, they did less with more between 2012-2016 than any team in WNBA history. And, as far as recent history goes, since losing to the Lynx in 2017, they've missed the playoffs the same number of times that they've gotten out of the second round (once). Now, if you want to lay that failure at Fisher's feet, be my guest, but what do you mean, "usual championship contending" selves? Historically speaking, that's simply untrue.

I hope VJ and Greg have an altercation the way he and Fred did, so he can dump her ass sooner than later!!!
