AZ's defense is on point. Now, if we could get OR's 3s on point, among other things! Evil or Very Mad

Well, at least OR's FTs are on point. Razz

HOW does a team like OR allow AZ 52% on FGs, but only put up 26% themselves? Embarassed And the rebounding discrepancy is absurd. Prince is a freekin' waste. Rolling Eyes

68-66 final in OT Oregon

I was listening to the audio and at the end he said that "in a classless act coach Barnes has just said something to Graves that I can't repeat".

Was anyone else wondering if Rogers had properly re-established herself as being inbounds when she grabbed that board there at the end? I'm sure it was clean or else the refs would have looked at it, but the thought crossed my mind.

I wouldn't know but he was right there to hear it all. I doubt he would make it up. He cheered for Oregon but his call was very fair to both teams. Maybe those who watched the game can help.

Indeed. And I can't imagine a guy like Kelly saying/doing anything to induce that, either.

BUT WE FINALLY PULLED OUT A BIG ONE!! (and yes, thank you Sedona....and Nyarra, Endiya, Te'Hina, etc.)

I thought it looked pretty clear that she had both feet down when she got the ball...but I only saw it once.

Maybe Adia was not happy about her bigs fouling out?

Every time I've watched them, I thought Copeland got away with a lot of rough action inside.

The audio announcer just clarified his comment. The words were said but he was told later that the 2 coaches had been going at each other pretty good all game so he apologized for "classless act". I guess when both coaches are behaving like that it's a classy thing?

It's times like this that courtside seats are attractive. I once got to sit 2 rows behind the Celtics bench when Tommy Heinson was the coach. Never enjoyed a game more.

You mean the same Adia who was unapologetic last year after being caught on video telling people to F---Off?...

Laughing That's a pretty strong mischaracterization of what she REALLY did.

In the post-game presser, Ms. Barnes certainly spent enough time wah-wah-ing about the *bad call* thing. Hmmm....

It seems to be a habit. She got a lot of heat for doing that at the FF. I doubt the conference is going to be happy about her complaining about the officiating for a good chunk of her post-game press conference either. I think the guy that said "classless act" got it right the first time.
