The stat site says Muhl is starting instead of Westbrook.

Butler is weak at full strength and tonight they are shorthanded.

Mühl gets called for fouling a Butler player's elbow with her ribs. Wink

Probably the best 1Q of the season, 25-9, but it's a weak opponent.

If nothing else it's a conditioning exercise.

UConn doesn't really have a two post offense, so the offense when three posts are in the game is somewhere between Laughing and Embarassed .

It's Butler, so it doesn't matter, but if Christyn ever takes seven 3s in a game, much less a half, against a Top 25 team, may our chances of winning rest in clanks.

Laughing Laughing Laughing

I guarantee you Geno hates his life when he sticks the three posts in, we just don't have the guards..

Offense runs better with Muhl, which isn't the least bit surprising. That being said, I don't know that I remember a time a senior was pulled from the starting lineup...but I can think of at least one more I'd do that with...

I'm disappointed (and unsurprised) that we are wasting away the game and just waiting for the clock to run out. I know it's not the offense, but take a time out, draw up two different plays for post players to be IN THE POST, and run them every single time down the court. There have been multiple possessions where there are three actual posts in the game and not one of them posts up once.

So true. The 4Q was embarrassing: 6-23 shooting, many of the misses outside chucks by bigs, plus lazy defense.

On the other hand, it's good that ONO, Williams, Westbrook and Ducharme (again) had good games. DeBerry somehow had five assists.

UConn had Gabriel and DeBerry in for the last few minutes and they were fed the ball on every offensive possession intentionally. They were very ineffective. worth turning into a comment on the offense in general. At least those who have been clamoring for Geno to play the end of the bench now know why they are at the end.

UConn's offense is still out injured. What I like is how the rest of the team is getting better defensively. Sure, I'd love to see the seniors' shots wake up but even if they don't the offense will still be great when (& if) Bueckers and Fudd come back near 100%.
