2022 - Ashley Joens - 6-1 SF - Iowa State
2022 - Rhyne Howard - 6-2 SF - Kentucky

2023 - Kierstan Bell - 6-1 SF - FGCU
2023 - Aliyah Boston - 6-5 C - South Carolina
2023 - Rickea Jackson - 6-2 PF - Mississippi State
2023 - Charisma Osborne - 5-9 SG - UCLA
2024 - Paige Bueckers - 5-11 PG - Connecticut
2024 - Cameron Brink - 6-4 PF - Stanford
2024 - Caitlin Clark - 6-0 PG/SG - Iowa
2024 - Charlisse Leger-Walker - 5-10 SG - Washington State

(This thread might be a little more....streamlined??....if just seniors, or seniors and juniors might be considered.)

Umm, YA. Laughing Laughing

Nyara and Sedona Prince, certainly. Sedona isn't currently the dominant center she should be. I know her injuries derailed some development, but she's in her second season under Kelly Graves, and I honestly am disappointed in her performances thus far. Her rebounding in particular should be better.

Both gals have terrific 'upsides', and could become long-term pros, imo.

In a discussion like this, I always think of the players like Erica Wheeler, Betnijah Laney, Becky Hammon or my fave, Taj: Not high on anybody's radar pre - wnba, but definitely great pros.

I’d add Jordan Horston from Tennessee as well. Lots of the turnovers she makes should and will be highlight reels in the W

I'd rather add Sara Puckett, Fr from Tenn. She can flat-out shoot it from anywhere (50/40/80%), has a pretty high basketball IQ, and doesn't get rattled. Huge, huge upside.

Embarassed If Harper won't stop incorrectly using Horston as a PG, Horston will need to transfer. She's too talented to be so mediocre on offense.

Just waiting for Brooklynn Miles to mature a little. Go back to the Boneyard. Your team has enough problems.

You're not the only one to think that. Ball-handling and 3-pt shooting are not among her talents. She needs to be put in a position where she can do the things she does well...slashing, stop-and-pop, rebounding. There's also the school of thought that her problems are caused by a collection of nagging injuries. Either way, her performance is not as good as it should be, given her natural abilities.

Yeah I think the Responder is confused lol not stormeo sis calm down Laughing Laughing Laughing Horston will be best used in the professional
Ranks at SF she has the size and blocking ability to be a combo guard for any team . She is a playmaker as well when under control. Along with her rebounding ability will definitely get drafted . She’s averaging almost a double double playing PG right now. That’s with points and rebounds not assists . Although her 5 assists per game are not too shabby as well when u factor in her turnovers . She does more good than bad for a team imo.

There are a lot of pretty iffy characters on that list. Stormeo is giving 'everyone' a chance. Mine would be considerably shorter, but I'm too lazy to build it.

I totally agree. That list is much too long. Would have to cut it way down.

A reminder: That big list at the top of the thread is a subjective list I comprised that reflects my own opinions. If y’all don’t like it, you are – once again – more than welcome to put out your own list, or even just say a few names, instead of trying to tear it down. Rolling Eyes

At least Myrtle’s willing to admit she’s just too lazy to make her own. Laughing

And while we’re at it, I said what I said about Horston, TOO! Cool

And you didn't pay attention to what I said about waiting for Brooklynn Miles who is not quite ready for prime time but getting there.. Deal with it. Kellie is using the options she has right now. You WISH you had Horston. You don't.

That theory isn't supported by the number of times that Horston and Miles are on the floor together, and Horston has the PG duties anyway. Miles isn't any more a SG than Horston is a PG.

And I'll admit I'm even lazier than myrtle. Embarassed

Wasn't Horston touted as a PG coming out of HS. And I love that summertimeblues is just blatantly ignoring the assholery of the Boneyard comment(shocker).

I found her ESPNW recruitment page. The eval notes appear to be from the same person. Their first entry called her a "combo-guard," but then the entry after that a couple months later called her an "off-guard", with all future entries positionally referring to her simply as a "guard." ESPNW also only labeled her as a "guard."

ProspectsNation however does list her as a PG on her page. However, one description of her within that same page says that she can play "1 through 4." And if a player can play a range of positions, usually their true position is somewhere in the middle – she does seem like a 2/3 player to me.

I'd also like to take this time to finally clear up any lingering confusion. I, Stormeo, am not a member of the Boneyard. And while I'd love to have Horston on my team, my team is the UW Huskies and not the UConn Huskies. (Additionally, my team also needs help at PG, and I'm skeptical that Horston would be the right answer anyway.) Very Happy

And while I'd love to have Horston on my team, my team is the UW Huskies and not the UConn Huskies. (Additionally, my team also needs help at PG, and I'm skeptical that Horston would be the right answer anyway.) Very Happy

You didn’t need to clear it up. It’s pretty damn obvious you aren’t a UConn Huskie fan. Sad that you had to.

Horston was outstanding on the USA basketball U17 national team. It’s a shame her success there hasn’t transferred to college. Whether that’s a slight against Harper, I’m not sure; I don’t follow Tennessee that much. She could be one of those players that’s better at the pro level than college.

Stormeo, I apologize for putting you with the wrong Huskies. Otherwise, I said what I said.
