| Lady Vols playing pretty terrific defense on Kitley, who went 1-7 from the field in the first half. Only points came when Tamari Key was briefly on the bench.

Yes. I watched only the fourth quarter because I saw it was a close game. Virginia Tech got hot for a minute to take a 7 points lead, but I was super impressed by Tenn for not falling apart. They continued to play solid defense and made a very efficient comeback led by Puckett, Key, and Horston. Showed a lot of maturity.

| I honestly thought Kitley's mobility would get past Key. Boy was I wrong. Kudos to Tamari and the whole team, and to Kellie's coaching! This team has really matured and so has their coach. Pat would be so proud.

| Walker played an all-around great game. Puckett single-handedly kept us in the game in the 4th quarter. Horston, not so much...foul trouble, poor defense, and a boatload of dumb decisions, but she made 2 needed baskets in the waning minutes. I think this team has the most grit I've seen in a Tenn team since 2008.
