Williams received a two-game suspension and Bradford one. Both players are free agents, so the suspensions will be served starting with the first regular-season game that each player is eligible to play after signing with a new team.

Griner was suspended 3 games for her incident with Anigwe on 2019. Griner and Johnson received 7 game suspensions in 2015 for "mutual combat" off the court.

These seem a bit light considering the video footage and surrounding circumstances. I guess if it happens off the court and not at home, it's not as bad?

In the 2015 case there were criminal charges (domestic violence), while the CWill/Bradford case there were no criminal charges and no domestic violence. It was also claimed to be self defense (and there was apparently no evidence to the contrary.) I don't see how it's a reasonable comparison. Griner's fight with Anigwe did happen during a game but things that happen in games always get stiffer penalties. If someone gets into a fight at work they likely will get a lot stiffer penalty from the employer than if they get into a fight in a bar after work.

That's fair. I hadn't considered the charges aspect.
