I think it's you vs me this week, baby. If I go on picking the wrong games you'll win easy! I'm wondering if the ouija board would be a better method for picking games...

uh, hmmm, I think you counted the wrong games for OKState last week for Madi Williams and Lexi Donarski. Donarski had a better game that should have counted and Williams game was still good, but overall I think what changes is the blocks totals. I just noticed because I keep a running total and noticed my numbers didn't match with yours. Very Happy

Thank you for pointing this out. I believe I've corrected the error, but do let me or Coyotes know if it still doesn't look right! Mix-ups like this is always prone to happen, but especially so these last few weeks when there has been the added confusion of all the cancellations/postponements/alternates.

no problem. it's easy to see how that mixup could happen! thanks for all your work. we'll need to increase your salary! Laughing

We learned that Sharp is not so sharp and will instead take that Warnock challenge. She was high on my list at the beginning of the year. The trick is to figure out when she will have the monster games vs the yawner games...but then so it goes with most of my team.

Waive Morgan Sharps, BGSU and sign McKenna Warnock, Iowa (the GF part is a plus too)

Sorry, I believe that HoopSmom took Warnock earlier today. You’re just a few minutes late, and I will update the rosters later.

ok, we'll go back to Hayley Frank from Mizzou. Other than the one game we got from her Evil or Very Mad she's been pretty decent.

I thought about jumping on the Frank bandwagon after the South Carolina game. But then again, Mizzou. Razz Good luck brave Myrtle!

and what did you think of Warnock's response to you dumping her?

I know. right?! I mean she literally screwed my team the one game I took her - it was by far her worst game of the year! Surely it can't happen again...

I feel that way about a lot of my players - they have some fantastic games, when they are not in my lineup…. I just hope I picked the right game for the right players this week, because I need some wins!

I just realized that the game that I played Ty Battle for was postponed, and she actually counted for the game on January 9, which was huge for her!

quick question for you hoopmom-- if one of your starters has a game cancelled but does play a second game this week, would you like to take the second game where possible? or just go directly to your listed alternates?

All right, all right! Listen up, ladies and gentlemen! We had some semblance of order restored in the league with some classic battles going on bringing some players back down to earth.

Perhaps a surprising league leader, Adam ran into the undaunted Coyote who used their wiles to sneak out a 6-4 win and create a logjam at the top. The top four teams in the league all have three losses -- and are only separated by the number of ties each team has. Coyotes set a new record for points, only to be quickly eclipsed by Undersized Post somehow getting 10 more points in the bucket. Absolutely rude, that coach, can't stand how he thinks he always has to do better than me at every record attempt. In any case, elsewhere, it looks like HoopSmom picked up a crucial win over Tbinta and edged closer towards Coyotes claim to fame as the Queen of Ties by tying with UCBart. (A note here, UC Bart did not have a full team due to the plague, but the result did not change whether I played 6 for HoopSmom or left a full team). Perhaps the surprising result of the week was how close Cooper came to knocking off Undersized Post. Cooper needed just 5 more rebounds to draw the individual who received the highest salary increase in the known history of the league, percentage wise. This seemed to be a week for near misses as OK State was incredibly close to snatching one from Myrtle-just three blocks or one turnover away from a draw. As things stand, here are the standings moving forward.

With that being said, it looks like we have a logjam in the battle to get the final bye (#5 Seed in the Tournament) with almost everyone with the chance to snatch it. At the top, it will be critical for Coyotes to snatch a tie from Undersized this week to give Myrtle some room to sneak into the Top 2. Plenty of good basketball yet to be played, and I look forward to seeing how things shake out!

Those were the days when it took 5 minutes to put in a lineup [sigh]

Appreciating UCBart making the effort when obviously much more important stuff he has to take care of.

I haven't been able to find anything about the "undisclosed injury" so have no idea if Jazz will be out no games, one game, this week, this year...
