next year, if there is a next year, remind me to not take any games at holiday resorts! I don't know if it's the lighting or the floors or the rims, but a whole lot of shitty shooting happened.

Week 4 (11/30-12/6) Starting lineup

G: K. Bell, 12/1, FGCU vs. Princeton*
G: D. Fair, 12/1, Buffalo vs. Niagara
F: J. Dickey, 12/2, Delaware @ Columbia
F: K. Spruill, 12/4, LaSalle @ Saint Francis
C: N. Smith, 11/30, Baylor vs. Morehead State
U: G. Berger, 12/6, Indiana vs. Penn State
U: V. Burton, 12/6, Northwestern vs. Wisconsin
U: A. Sheppard, 12/1, Virginia Tech @ Wisconsin

Alternate for G/U: McKenna Warnock, 12/5 Iowa vs. Michigan State
Alternate for C/F: Grayson Rose, 12/5, Northern Kentucky vs. Purdue Fort Wayne

*Princeton's defense is allowing only 47.2 points per game this season, which ranks in the 99th-percentile. This makes me... nervous. But it's Bell's only game and I can't not play my lottery pick. Let's go Kierstan! Cool

You're good to go with Blount!

Bold to play Henderson and Lee against each other in your starting lineup. Twisted Evil

Your matchup with me this week is all coming down to how well Cece Hooks plays tonight. I hope she fires a lotta bricks. Razz

Dang, I looked and didn’t see that. I’ll have to find somebody else. Too many of my players don’t play a D1 game this week.

What about Katelyn Young from Murray State? If she’s available, I will take her, and play her 11/30 vs Evansville.

I think Young is available. At least I looked at her earlier and was thinking that...but UP or Coyotes can tell us.

I've decided that my team really can't handle more than one wild thing, so my orange haired beauty from Stonybrook will have to go. We will waive Ms Warren to make way for a steady eddy type: Brynna Maxwell, Utah.

A great gratitude to Undersized Post for helping with most of the stats this past week, I've been travelling and up to no good in Northern New Jersey, and I'll be back to my desktop later this week. As I look to wrap up this past week of games, here are the executive decisions on some of the missing games from last week.

1. Cooper2009 had a DNP from Nyara Sabally, Oregon. The first eligible game for a replacement of the week comes from Felmas Koranga, Troy on 11/22. I am substituting these stats as this was the first game from an alternate player for this week.

2. HoopSSSMom had a game from Mia Davis, Temple on 11/30 against Georgetown listed. This was outside the play period -- as such Osh Brown against Vanderbilt on 11/26 as the first alternative will be utilized.

3. UCBart actually had the worst luck of us all. Angel Parker of Niagara had her only game of the week postponed due to COVID. Unfortunately, for this mighty team, there were no other eligible games for this week period. Evina Westbrook and Olivia Nelson-Ododa did not play this past week, Maddy Siegrist continues to be injured for mighty Villanova, and Priscilla Williams of Syracuse hasn't made an appearance yet. As such, UCBart only has seven eligible players this week. Miraculously, UCBart will still get across the line with a victory in one of his matchups with 7 players.

Without further ado, the shockingly devastating results at the end of Week 3 are as follows. Please note that Myrtle failed to trap the elusive Coyote, but escaped with a tie. In the battle of Titans, it was Undersized Post sending Adam out of the ranks of the unbeaten. Hoopmom delivered a blow to Myrtle's perfect record with what can be considered a fantastic triumph. Tbinta picked up their first win of the season courtesy of a thorough dismantling of UCBart -- impressive considering that UCBart managed to win his other match. Pureform was similarly knocked from the ranks of the unbeaten with OK State Guy putting together a solid week.

Undersized_Post has taken command of the standings with a perfect record, but I would point out that the wily Coyote would be 2-0-1 against the undersized posts of the world -- but such is life in a fantasy league. The last two unbeaten teams clash this week with the Coyotes dreaming of another tie to cement their status as the Queen of Ties because they are clearly incapable of putting away their rivals.

Current League Records:

Field Goal Percentage: Pureform 59.78%, Week 2
Free Throw Percentage: Undersized Post 92.86%, Week 1
3 Pointers Made: 20, Myrtle, Week 2 (Honorable Mention to Coyotes with 19 in the same week. Rude.)
3 Point FG%: Myrtle, 58.82%, Week 2. (I suppose if you sink this percentage, 20 is an easy number)
Rebounds: 77, Cooper2009, Week 3
Assists: 34, Coyote, Week 1
Blocks: 18, Cooper 2009, Week 2
Steals: 1. 19, UC Bart, Week 3 (w/ 7 Players) 2. 18, Adam, Week 2
Turnovers:4, The Mighty Pureform, Week 2
Points: 1. Undersized Post, 163, Week 3 2. 160, The Wily Coyote, Week 2

It seems that identifying which players are available is a bit of a challenge for people -- is there something that would be helpful for people moving forward? I.E. If I screenshotted the roster transactions and put it on the front page on a weekly basis along with the updated rosters?

As always, if anyone has any questions or concerns or suggestions, please let me know.

Shout out to Commissioner Coyote—the best in the business—for the entertaining weekly recaps. ❤️ Unfortunately for the Coyotes, that won't stop me from crushing their stats this week. Twisted Evil

Regarding the difficulties keeping track of rosters... apologies in advance if this is overkill, but I might as well share the viewing link to the league spreadsheet again and remind everyone that you can bookmark it, click over to the "League Rosters" and "Roster Transactions" sheets, and do a quick search to see which players are already claimed. One of us usually keeps this up to date, if not every day, then every few days.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1O0AN6vOxBsBpTwgNXYRRgcVUzOEVjAuOfmECbj-Z35M/edit?usp=sharing

You can also click through the various sheets to see previous weeks' stats and such. To keep it uncluttered, I've "hidden" some data from previous weeks, but if you're curious to see something, just let me know and I can unhide it or DM you or whatever! Very Happy

Happy fantasying, y'all.

thanks to both of you. I'm so happy to not be doing all the work this time! It's fun to just sit back and agonize over my team and games. And having done the managing before, I can really appreciate the time and energy it takes. Thank you thank you thank you.

as far as the roster sheet, I appreciate that it is there, but have discovered that even so, my searches don't always find the person...and a couple of times I've been surprised to find someone on a roster because their 'owner' never plays them.

You're so welcome! I've actually enjoyed it quite a bit. It took an initial time investment to get the spreadsheet up and running, but now that's it's more or less fully automated, all we have to do each week is tell the sheet who is playing who, assign each match a number, and copy and paste stats. Since I already spend more junk time than I should perusing random box scores, this isn't much extra 'work' on top of that. Laughing

It's my first fantasy league since I was a youngster getting torched by my older brothers in MLB (puke) and NFL (puke puke) fantasy leagues, back in the relatively early days of Yahoo. This is way more my style! Cool

I'm ok if Diamond doesn't start so long as she basically gets starter minutes. Does anybody think she's not better than Crutchfield? But I get it - Crutchfield is the senior.
