Phoenix can put up these numbers in one quarter. I’m baffled.

It was incidental, but credit Astou for not missing a beat on defense.

I thought we were going to see the ball go over the backboard on the last Deshields free throw. Can't remember seeing that on a FT.

Part of it Chicago's defense, which has been very good

Yeah, they played it with the type of intensity/urgency that you want to see in the finals. And Phoenix couldn't handle it.

I still think Petty is closer to Phx's starting rotation than the others she's on the floor with. There is no one else that Sandy can put in to save her legs for game 4? I'm kinda surprised she's in garbage time.

DeShields would fit right in with the Mercury this series.

They only have 10 players with Nurse out

Dan Hughes wearing a rainbow tie-dye mask and washed denim jacket is easily my happiest moment of this game.

What I'd be doing is splitting those minutes 50/50 with Cunningham, which is pretty much what has happened

I’m serious: I want Evans on the Storm. She can inherit the PG throne after Birdy retires. She can shoot, as I’ve said many a time before. The rest will come. We don’t have to settle for Canada, and getting Plum in 2023 ain’t a sure thing. Get creative, Storm! Twisted Evil

I've been asking this for 15 years across 3 stints on 2 teams. We may never know.

I miss the days where Phoenix played well and still got killed by Minnesota.

This was one of the worst displays of basketball I’ve ever seen.

I don’t even know what Chicago had to do well because it was that bad. One thing’s for sure, they were prepared.
