PHX is jus rice cold and playing very out of sorts. Taurasi honestly shouldn't be out there. She's a liability. pHX needs to slow it down a bit. The momentum of the first quarter overtook them and now it's all sloppy passes, disorganization and missed shots.

I kinda thought that too. But then looking at the box, she does have the biggest + in +/- so does that mean something?

She's more of a liability in that it's like we only have 4 1/2 on the floor. Is anyone passing to her unless out of total desperation? I'm shocked PHX isn't using full court pressure on her when she brings up the ball.

While this is all true in her ability to playmake, I think she still makes every player around her more focused and confident. I wouldn’t trade that.

Fair point. She's made two vital 3s. This game will be close and those could be the difference when it's all said and done.

So, why doesn't Sandy play Cunningham more?

Seattle without Stewie looks crippled. But you know who has impressed me is Russell  I thought she had really good hands to catch a couple of balls, made a beautiful pass...and so far has managed to stay out of foul trouble. She ain't perfect and her hook shot looks really ugly, but I'm just amazed at how much she has improved in general.

Trying to play her way into junior kaiju status.

I think Bird can play longer than Taurasi. They keep vaguely mentioning how this could be sue’s last game but in reality it needs to be Diana’s. She’s going to injure herself into retirement .

How important is this 4th quarter for Skylar Diggins?

The thing with Seattle is that we can hide Diana on a few players defensively.

We should have given Hartley a try, but there doesn’t seem to be the time. And Phoenix has done pretty well to stay with Seattle despite not having Turner.

Also, wtf was Sophie? I get the need to give Skylar a break on defense when we are depending on her offense, but we’ve made Brit do that all season and Sophie isn’t that big of a defensive drop off.

Get the ball inside to BG please.

I still think Bria should be getting some minutes. She's a hell of a defender.

I feel the same way, but part of the problem is the roles they are playing.

Sandy still treats DT like she’s in her prime, and asks her to do those things. Give DT a “coach on the floor” role who creates and makes open 3s like Sue, and she could last longer.

PHX won the 1st.

SEA won the 2nd.

SDS won the 3rd.

Who wins the 4th?

I get that Bird vs DT for potentially the last time is a huge draw but I don't see the point in running DT into the ground for this game. They CAN win this game without her. They likely cannot win a game without her if they advance.

I don’t know that they can win this game without her, and in a series, DT can rest more.

Phoenix went on a nice lil run with BG on the bench.

I can hardly bear to watch DT hobble down the floor for one more possession. Get that ankle on ice!!

Turner not playing like someone worried about foul trouble.

When Turner falls on the floor, all I hear are bones crashing to the floor.

It’s honestly really bad. I understand letting teams get away with some things, but there’s a line…

She wants to be a legend a top 25 player . Never making the semis I’d say it’s hella important to her !

Most likely because they don’t want her guarding Lloyd . That’s a disaster waiting to happen Laughing Laughing Laughing
