If she's out for the season, does that make her a potential stash pick?

If she is out for the season does she change her mind and go back to FGCU next year?

That would be the smart thing to do. Even though her resume is already established and proven. Even with her injury I can still see her going in the first round (late). But you also have to figure the 2023 class will have Boston, Cooke, Jones, Horston, Owusu, Blackwell, Miller and others to battle with. Nevertheless, that was also her 2019 HoopGurlz recruiting class anyway. Tough decision either way.

4-6 weeks or 4 months sounds about right. I had this surgery for my partially torn meniscus in both knees . Took about 3 mos to full recover. Either way she will be ready by May at the latest perfect timing Laughing

Is that a prediction, because she has plenty of time to change her mind.

Ayoka Lee on the possibility of entering the WNBA Draft: “I’m staying another year.”

Adds she loves what she does in school and wants to finish up. #KStateWBB

If she does take the rest of the college season off, you’d be taking a risk on how her injury turns out. So if you’re someone who had Bell ranked high early in the season, I would think you’d now drop her ranking. The best case scenario would be for her to return by March and show she’s okay.

Evina Westbrook has seemed to lose her way at UCONN . She's def regressing and losing minutes to under classmen . It's as if shes afraid to shoot it , Lobo says she should be a lottery pick and shades wants her in Minny with their first round pick . What are your observations of where she will go in this draft if even considered at this point.

Mocks have been placing her in the 1st round and are crazy. She never should've gone to uconn.

Folks claim that Howard disappears in big games - Westbrook is worst. But she has time to do better. But she'll be a late 1st round pick if does so

Anyway, will see what happens

I’ve never said that.

At this point I’d like Cubaj, but may not need a first round round pick for her.

Sorry Shades im thinking of 2021 when you made this post Laughing Laughing

I’m nervous that Reeve will have a UConn addiction now.
Looking ahead at UConn next season, they have no seniors but have these three juniors:
13 Christyn Williams 5-11 G Jr. Little Rock, Ark. / Central Arkansas Christian

20 Olivia Nelson-Ododa 6-5 F Jr. Winder, Ga. / Winder Barrow HS

22 Evina Westbrook 6-0 G R-Jr. Salem, Ore. / Tennessee

The only one that can declare for 2021 is Westbrook.
There’s a chance she could possibly being available at #9.
At this point, not thrilled about it. We’ll see how she does.

I’m not sure practicing with the team one year followed by only one year of competitive play with UConn qualifies her as a true blue UConn player, so I hope Reeve is thinking the same.

On another note, UConn adds a couple of interesting players to the 2022 stash.

Well, it’s either a bad memory or poor reading comprehension. Take your pick.

Has Leticia Amihere confirmed her return to SC? Last I checked she was the first one enrolled early at SC with this junior class so she should be eligible this year right? I’ve always said she has the most potential to be an all star of that gamecock team of any player .

Naz Hillmon has good height and length to be a WNBA three. She also looks quick enough and fast enough to play it. But doesn't have the skills (doesn’t display the shooting or dribbling skills of WNBA 4’s either). She might be a worthwhile project to see if she can develop the skills ala Alicia Clark.

Hines-Allen is re-signing with Washington, and it's unlikely they will be able to afford a decent veteran center. DC has the #1 pick and Austin is the best center available. So...

NaLyssa Smith’s name made the cover of SLAM (not WSLAM) magazine.
