Awak appears to have played like a beast today. +23, 2-3 from 3. 8 boards. Shooting over 50%, and a pair of steals and blocks. Should I have drafted her to my inaugural ESPN fantasy team? Anybody have intel?

It’s a preseason game. They’re still down at least two players in McCowan and Sabally. Is Thornton there yet, I dunno.

I’d like to see her take all of Thornton’s minutes and McCowan is only good for 20 minutes. Hopefully, this wasn’t a fluke and Awak announces her arrival on Saturday!

Yes, Thornton is back but she didn't play today, she sat at the end of the bench.

Preseason game or not. Weak opponent or not. Awak game to play. Just need her to keep it up for majority of the season. Hopefully the coach plays her enough
