She'll have no choice but to get it together once Brittney invades the WNBA. She couldn't keep up with Brittney otherwise. Wink

They could be teammates.

Jarry's had a very nice game. Maybe she's ready....

Dunno. She also did some pretty dumb things earlier.

She only had one turnover the whole game and had a game-leading 5 assists. She also appeared to be the only AUSsie with any fight left in the last minutes.

I have a feeling Reeve liked what she saw in this game.

Problem is...not sure how much room there will be on the squad in 2013, and does she rate over Wojta?

Jarry played her Opals role well today but no way would I say she is WNBA ready just yet.

I agree. She was good.

Cambage's only shot attempt in the second half was a desperation three with the shot clock running out

That is not really a suprise Wink

They pretty much cant stand each other anymore

Sad to see LJ's last chance at gold being ended here but hopefully they can get the bronze medal. Great effort by the Opals. Congrats to USA!

Watching Cambage today and thinking about how she played in Tulsa last year, I had one more "Nolan Richardson has no f***ing clue" moment. Hopefully the last one.

Finally, CP has played just awful defense twice against Cambage. All that talent and she's never bothered to defend, which is now catching up to her.

This isn't a fair criticism without mentioning that Parker is only on her because Cambage would have 30 by now had Charles been left out there...

Charles did a much better of guarding Cambage in the second half. Parker did a better job of not being on the floor at the same time as Cambage in the second half.

Maybe she can get a Gold Medal as the coach in 2016. Wink

Which is exactly why I don't really care about team sports in the Olympics. LJ had a legitimate claim as the best player in the world for the past two Olympics (04 and 0Cool and she had no chance to win a gold medal because of the country she was born in.

Just silly, IMO.

I think international competitions for team sports is silly. That the best player in the world has no chance for a gold medal during her career because of which parcel of land she was born on is silly.

They should have Olympics 21 or Olympics H.O.R.S.E. then.

That's just life. Like an amazing player being drafted to the suckiest team with suckiest managers who never gets a ring. Real fans will still recognize their brilliance, ring or not, medal or not.

FIBA should be making a push for 3x3 in the Olympics by 2020 or 2024.

considering tha lack of PGs in the league, she'd make someone's team. If not LA, maybe Seattle, Chicago(if Ticha retires), Connecticut, Phoenix or New York.

To me, it looked like Charles had her arm hooked up and Cambage was trying to free her arm.

I have to wonder if they had Taylor & Erin Phillips, if they could have won gold. their backcourt was very weak.
