Wow. Yes, they are.
Wonder if they have videos of other players too? |

Of all the players they could choose, though... Hucles?

Seems like mostly US national team members being called in to do these. Hopefully they'll get a few up of the international players as well.
BTW, new one of Hope Solo up. |

LOVE the Solo one.
And yes to more internationals. Hope they do one for Cristiane!

I'm sure it's about diversity.

Well, since you bring up diversity I find it practically criminal that there isn't one of Marta yet.

I agree, but if they are just doing members of the US National team this first go around Marta doesn't fit. But that doesn't mean there haven't been any made of the her or other international players, just not debuted yet.

I'm sure it is too, but Hucles is to the midfield what Heather Mitts has often been to the back line. Not bad per se, but certainly average and not as good as several possible alternatives.
Mitts has improved in recent years and largely so has Hucles, but neither is exactly superstar material. If the primary interest is in diversity -- which I find a little confusing as the entire justification given that of only two players previously, one is Shannon Boxx -- then surely Natasha Kai will be the choice for New Jersey over Heather O'Reilly.
Which is really just my way of trying to brag that my team has three gold medalists on it...

I am wondering about predictions as to who they will choose for other teams. I think Chicago is pretty likely to be Lloyd, if only because she is the goal scorer at the Olympics.
Little less sure about FC Gold Pride. As far as USWNT members, they could go with Chastain (and her shirt) or Osborne, but the biggest name they really have is honestly probably Canadian Christine Sinclair.
If nothing else, when they do ones for the internationals, I expect to see Sinclair, Kelly Smith, and Marta among the first. If they ever do a round of the recently graduated (which I highly doubt, as right now they're really all rookies) then I'd love to see Carrie Dew (or hell, any defenders ever) and Tina DiMartino in the spotlight.
And if Lori Chalupny ever gets a commercial all her own, I can probably die happy.

If they ever do one with Marta and she doesn't break in that little samba move, that would be a crime.
