whether or not she won the world championships and wins olympic gold she knew she wasn't going to be coaching the team in 2012 because after every olympics the committee picks a new coach thats why after Tara vanDerveer won in 1996 Nell Fortner took over and Van Chancellor took over for the 2002 world championships and was replaced by Ann Donovan after the 2004 olympics
