I'm feeling a new feature on SportsCenter: "NBA Player or WNBA Player?" Imagine Mike Greenberg showing Luc Robataille photos of Danny Fortson, Carmelo Anthony, Ruth Riley and Latasha Byers and asking him, "Okay Luc, for 100 points ... can you pick out the two WNBA players?" Wouldn't that be ten times more captivating than "Hearsay"?


Anderson Varejao, the 20 year-old, crazy-haired Brazilian who crashes the offensive boards like a maniac and seems headed for about 25,000 alley-oops from LeBron over the next 10 years. Get ready to see Drew Gooden's minutes start to drop. More importantly, when is Anderson dropping his last name like Nene did? I love when that happens


Why did they have to put Byears in the same category as Riley???
And they forgot Spree. His are the worst!

Anyways, the way they pronounce "Varejao" in the US, I can see him dropping it very soon. I can't even try to repeat it without getting my tongue stuck betweem the arch and the roof of my mouth lol

Yeah, everybody is just referring to fan favorite Varejão as 'Wild Man' lol... They also can't decide whether to print his name as Varejão or Varejao. I don't think Anderson has decided either... he had his name printed as Varejão in the draft literature, but has Varejao on the back of his current jersey How do you pronounce his name anyways?
