How many times does Hull have to be a part of an Indiana comeback before she gets consistent minutes?

I am not a big "fire the coach" person, but the way Sides has just continually futzed with the line-up this season tells me she doesn't know what she is doing.

I think Indiana is much better than they were, but Sides struggles with the rotation.
Hull is a prime example. She clearly makes the team better. Consistently makes smart plays and effort plays. And she’s the type of player most coaches love.
My other major issue is her consistent sitting of Clark in end of game situations. Yes, she’s a bad defensive player. But she needs to learn how to play in those situations and she’s also a clutch player. Let her learn..

Wow, the few Mystics fans that have been here have now totally evaporated into the ether. Great game for a team down THREE starters! And hopefully getting them all back after Olympics. Stef Dolson's been balling! She excels in the side actions which are basically one side of the floor 3x3 plays. Her angles and timing on screens should be studied by all post players. The angle of her screens give her a half step release for the cut to the hoop.

And she took a vicious elbow to the head from Boston and Boston tried to act all innocent!! WNBA SHOULD take a look at it. Refs watched and called the foul on Dolson!!!!!. They were in the tank for the Fever like they were on the payroll or had money on the game. Wouldn't call blatant stuff for the Mystics!!
PEACE AND LOVE GO MYSTICS!!!!!
PS Don't lose the Paige Sweepstake swith this winning! s/c

Look - if you’re going to intentionally stay in a players personal space the way Vanloo was to Clark, then flop around like you don’t understand what’s happening, you’re the antagonist. I don’t blame Vanloo for doing it, Clark is a far superior player and that’s the type of stuff you do to get the job done. But as Clark is getting more comfortable in the league, it’s clear she’s going to get more comfortable speaking her mind and telling people what’s what (from her POV naturally). It’s going to make for some of the most exciting basketball the league has yet to see. This fun only happens because we have ladies fully ready to get out there, mix it up, and do so confidently. So I applaud Vanloo for setting the stage.

You’re saying an offensive player has a right to their own personal space and also a right to invade the defensive player’s personal space? I think you’re writing your own Clarkie fan rule book.

ESPN is saying that Clark set an NBA/WNBA record. It appears that they are saying she led all the players in the game in points, 3 pointers made, rebounds, steals and blocks. But she did not lead the game in rebounds. She had 5 and there were two players on each team that had more than that.

I think they said something like no player ever registered this kind of stat since 1973-74. Probably an error.

I saw a YouTube video that had a graphic showing that. That's quite a "stat". Don't think they should track things that no one could easily remember or say.

My comment is not rules for Clark. My comment is that if you’re in an offensive players space, leaning on them, with both hands on them, 30 feet from the basket, when they don’t have the ball, you have committed a foul.
If you are being fouled, and someone is pressing their body and has both hands on you, you may wish to remove them from contact with you. If you do so and someone comes back to do it again, you likely will continue to want to remove them. The refs did a poor job managing the contact on Clark and I don’t get offended that Caitlin retaliated with a pretty bland push the way I’m not offended by Vanloo finding the reach of her leash with contact defensively.
My comments are about a situation involving Clark, but wouldn’t change from player to player so trying to turn this into that isn’t going to work or offend me. You are of course open to interpret however you’d like, Shades. You have enjoyed taking inflammatory positions through interpretations that service your preferred narrative for years and that seems to be the flavor of discourse these days for many.
