Playing only six players at a frenetic pace, UConn tired and got a bit sloppy in the last four minutes of the half, allowing G'town to close the gap to 47-24. Paint Blockers with 16 points.

2 more blocks for Bueckers giving her 44 on the season. I wonder what the record is for blocks by a Lieberman winner?

An exceptional first 15 minutes. The player movement, ball movement, shooting, offensive intentionality, defensive intensity, and cohesion on both ends were stellar.

Brady is even improved from yesterday.

Taurasi had 46 and 45 in her sophomore and junior years respectively. The next closest after that is Diggins with 27. Have to imagine Paige easily surpasses that DT number.

can UConn just go to a P5 already

they can have a "real" conference slate and stop kvetching

we can have an evenly matched conference and maybe a conference tournament that isn't in Connecticut

everyone wins

Paige blocked layups, blocked post shots and blocked 3pt shots. That's in addition to her ability to play the low post with (for geezers) Dr. J moves and Elgin Baylor hangtime. Oh, and then there are the pull-up jumpers and 3pt makes.

March Paige is on a different level.

UConn held their three opponents in the BET to an average of 41 PPG. Wonder if that's a BET record for three games.
