Why are these games up against the NFL?

That is so stupid.

NFL has Sunday, Monday night and Thursday night. College football has Saturday. Plus MLB every day of the week. Get in where you fit in.

I would have tried to schedule the playoffs so that Friday night would have always been used.

And Tuesday. What happens on Tuesdays?

For Monday night and Thursday night football, that involves 2 teams (or for these two weeks, 4 teams on Monday). Those are a hell of a lot better odds than going up against 20+ teams. Especially to start the series.

And depending on the streaming services that people are using, it may not be a quick channel change to peek into the game. If you have to change services (I would), it might not be worth it.

Oh well.

Wondering if there’s any possibility of the game being cancelled tomorrow due to Ophelia?

We're only getting the outer bands of the storm, there's no way we're canceling/postponing.

Yikes. I don’t think NY can overcome this deficit with the time remaining. They need a run of 3s and they just aren’t falling.

Looks like the Sun will steal away home court advantage.

I see this going to 5 now. NY will win the next two and CT will win Game 4.

The DeWanna/Alyssa show came to town! DeWanna's moving on up all the playoff charts due to playing for the Mercury in their hey day and now with the Sun going to Finals about every year. She's playing the best ball of her career right now.

Go Sun!

Stewart can't throw the ball into NY Harbor in the three playoff games so far, shooting 28.8% overall and 5.9% from the arc.

Congratulations to the Sun!

Not sure how Bonner will survive the imposed punishment for three or four more games.

okay, so if we try turning Betnijah on and off again, and someone yells at Breanna about shot selection in the huddle the way Dallas did Arike, and maybe we skip JJ getting called for a foul while she was literally walking away from the play, we can get our shit together

because it's not like we're going to get perimeter defense from Sabrina, Sloot, and Marine, who could maybe guard a chair if you let them all work together

Sabrina really ought to be playing better defense than she is. She's got the physical tools but not the mindset. She doesn't even hold the baseline, for Pete's sake. She looks like her feet are in cement on defense, whereas she's moving every which way to get open on offense.

Which is so impressive because she was great for the Merc. She’s been great for the Sun in the past, but she’s taken it up even another level. Talk about count that twice.

I don't think it's as much what it's up against as much as it is what ESPN is already contracted to air on certain days. I hate that it leads to large gaps in between games though.
