I really enjoy Quinn as a coach. I always hear great coaching whenever they have her mic'd up.

Weird thing today . . .

In the DC area, both ABC games on Xfinity cable are being broadcast in SPANISH play by play! And when you try to toggle to English, it says it’s unavailable. The commercials and halftime and promotional segments are in English.

WEIRD, right? Today is not April 1, so I guarantee I am not making this up.

Stopped paying attention to the game and looked up and see a score of 105 to 63. And also see Kelsey Plum in the game as they break for a time out.

This game hasn't been competitive, either, but at least watching this Aces offense in action has been impressive. Vegas, despite being the reigning champions, played this game like they think they have something to prove, which is bad news for the rest of the league.

On a personal note, I'm just glad that I finally get to root for Alyshia Clark: I've been wanting to cheer for her practically since the first time I saw her, but I'm psychologically incapable of supporting anyone wearing a Storm uniform. And going from the Storm to the Mystics wasn't working for me, either.

The 41 point MOV is reportedly the largest in WNBA season debut game history.

Wish that the WNBA and/or ESPN offered some sort of live post-game on days like this, even if it were only available behind a paywall.

Did Ezi kick the ball at 4:36 of the first with the same intent that Arike said she did last year?

A backward kick with the bottom of her foot to direct the ball back to the ref vs an attempted kick save from Arike.

I don't like Seattle's numbers. They look cheap, like they are wearing off already.

I like Andraya Carter. I think she does a great job.

I'm not quite halfway through the 2nd Q. Loyd has looked not good. Been blocked a couple of times, Plum just strong-armed the ball away from her. And now she's made four, I think out of five, shots.

Does Vegas not trust their bench players? With an insurmountable lead they still kept their starters in.

I know total points is part of the tie-breaking process for the Commissioner Cup, but come on.

Why did Quinn decide to have Horston guard A’ja? Shocked

Plum and Young both finished with the same number of points, but the manner they went about scoring was dramatically different. Plum seemed to force the action, while Young scored more in the flow of the game.

I think this will be a long season for Jewell.

Chelsea Gray has some shots that you think there’s no way it’s going in and then boom she scores.

I’m trying to recall if I ever seen CP3 on a team where she was the 4th or 5th scoring option?

Somebody like the Sparks will decide they need one more scorer to contend and trade for her at the deadline.

Not sure the Storm would do that, she is the face of the team now. But if they did, what would the Sparks have to give up to get her? Draft picks?

The Storm might realize she's leaving at the end of the season anyway so they might as well cash out
