VT has so many great shooters. It will be a challenge for LSU to defend everyone.

Just a shout out 'n a wave to all who *trashed* Kim for, among other things, her Cupcake Calendar, and how The Tigers weren't that good, blah blah: They ARE in the Final Four - they ARE legit. Very Happy Cool

(I hear Dallas is planning to have some Crowburger concession stands Razz)

Geaux Tigers!

Lobo and the three studio gals were all sporting playfully outrageous jackets and coats by Kim Mulkey's designer. And many of the LSU fans are very colorfully attired. Games, by definition, should be vehicles for fun.

Heads just said Amoore, the Wonder from Down Under, has more threes in the tournament than Caitlin Clark.

And the game has finally started! GO Virginia Tech!!!!!!!!!!!!

Foul #1 on Angel Reese!

And yet another camera shot of Kimmy looking like an overbudded flower. Just glad that (so far) we haven't had to tour her closet (& the ghosts of all the players who live there).

Looks like the Hokies are content to play at LSU's pace

On track to have more missed threes in this game than Clark has in the tournament too

Sue's jacket is almost (and maybe more so) heinous than Kim's!

Considering we're shooting 25% from the field and 11% from 3, pleased to be only down 3. Amoore's shot selection must get better. Reese has indicated she's not going to defend since picking up that foul, and we need to attack her defensively.

Sartorial disappointment: Kim wearing the same plain white slacks as always.

Kim looks like a Peep factory exploded on her.

Yeah, this officiating has not been Final Four quality.

LSU offense is use their superior quickness to drive to the basket and either make it or wait for the foul call. And it is working. And with a 7 player rotation, Virginia Tech is not a good opponent for a drive-to-the-basket team. (Or they could switch to a zone as they just did..) Angel Reese has a Shaquille O'Neill low post move where she blasts into the defender once or twice before shooting. And refs consider it legal in women's college basketball as well.

Kim stripped every hibiscus 🌺 bush in Louisiana for that jacket, but either she’s been wearing the same pants for the whole tournament or she owns a whole closet full of white flare bottom britches.

Traylor with some important fire and energy for Virginia Tech. Amoore's shot selection still bad. The zone has confounded LSU these last few possessions. Virginia Tech's offensive rebounding a big story - a South Carolina-esque 11 offensive rebounds to LSU's 9 defensive.

Most pressing halftime question: Will Kim be able to solve the zone?

LSU with 3 assists, Virginia Tech with 2 Shocked

Foul trouble may become a factor.

VT offence did not play with its usual freedom & swagger that half. Not sure whether to credit nerves or the defence. Luckily some threes started to drop and it's still a game, and Traylor got going individually. As a creative team that generates quality shots they're usually better than this, so hopefully still improvement to come in the 2nd half.

VT on a run, up 11 as Amoore and Traylor throwing long bombs.

Amoore has hit more 3pt shots than anyone in NCAAT history in just 4.5 games. That's quite an accomplishment.

LSU having a hard time with zone because they don't seem to have much of a 3pt game.
