The oddsmakers at Draftkings (via USAToday) have the higher seed as the favorites in all but 5 first round games. The five upsets per the betting odds are:
No. 8 USC +6.5 vs. No. 9 South Dakota State
No. 8 Ole Miss +1 vs. No. 9 Gonzaga
No. 5 Washington State +2.5 vs. No. 12 Florida Gulf Coast
No. 7 Baylor +1.5 vs. No. 10 Alabama
No. 6 Colorado +2 vs. No. 11 Middle Tennessee State
I guess I'm not surprised WSU is not getting respect. But If I was a gambler I'd be very tempted to take the points on this one.
Most surprised that Bama is favored over Baylor at all, even though it's slight.
