There might not be a lot of splashy marquee name matchups, but there are quite a few games I want to see. I wish I could watch Baylor-Kansas tonight, but I don't get that one, but do get UVA-VaTech, UNC-Miami and Clemson-FSU, all of which should be exciting close games ( and who doesn't want to watch Latson play). And on Sunday we get ND-UNC, Ore-AZ, Iowa St-OK, OhSt-Ill, Marquette-Creighton, VaTech-Miami, etc.

These may not all be the matchups we expected last September, but they are all really good competitive matchups as the season has actually developed with real implications for conferences and for NCAA bids and seeding.

Im honestly not that impressed with latson, she takes a lot of shots just like Clark and they get pegged as the best players when they just shoot a lot of bad shots and happen to make a lot as well. Not my types of players to watch .

Latson is shooting 48.6% from the floor, and over 38% from the arc. That's pretty respectable from where I sit considering how central she is to her team's surprising success and how much of the scoring load she carries, especially in critical moments. That's better than Diamond Miller and Haley Jones and Kiki Rice and Taylor Mikesell and others considered stars, and right with Diamond Johnson and Lou Lopez Senechal. BTW, her FG% and 3Pt% are both higher than the team's overall percentages, so she's not dragging them down.

If you want to pick on an over-hyped volume shooter, DePaul's Aneesah Morrow would be a more appropriate choice with her 43% shooting average and 22% 3pt shooting average.

Two things really jump out at me. First, neither ESPN nor the conference networks nor the regional networks can come close to matching the audiences that WCBB can attract on the major broadcast networks.

Second, in a really outstanding development, both NBC and Fox have broadcast their first ever WCBB games, and all did really well (NBC broadcast ND - Cal on a college football Saturday afternoon, and Fox broadcast DePaul-Creighton and Iowa-Michigan). It's not a lot of games, but at least it's a start Now CBS needs to get on board and they all need to to show a lot more games.

I am assuming that the people who post these (not sports fans) did not realize that NC State-Louisville should be on there as opposed to the game drawing under 200,000 viewers on average.
