ND 2 for 13 shooting in the first Q. Unbelievable. Thankfully they're playing decent defense and FSU is only 5 of 27 and Latson only has 2 pts.
Shots are just off by little, bouncing out off the back rim a lot.

FSU was up 10 at the 4 minute mark of Q2 when ND called TO. After the timeout, ND has scored 10 straight in 2 minutes to tie the game

Entertaining game despite the really ugly shooting by both teams.
FSU leads 23-22 at the half.
Noles are 1-14 from the arc, Irish are 0-7.
ND shooting 24.2%, FSU 25.0%.
Rebounds, blocks, turnovers all pretty even.
Not a lot of turnovers or fouls; just a whole lot of missed shots.

Notre Dame playing like they should be playing in the 2nd half and leads 60-40 with 6:30 to go in the game.

Final, ND 70, FSU 47. The announcers said it was the lowest output of the year for FSU.
Latson only had 9 pts on 3-11 shooting. Citron scored 19, Bransford 15, Ebo 12 with 10 rebounds.
I wasn't happy for the first 20 minutes, but ND slowly dismantled FSU after the halftime break, outscoring them 27-10 in the 3rd Q. A lot better than their 7 pt 1st Q, that's for sure.

Perfect example of why a strong defense is so important. If you have problems making shots, a strong defense will still keep you in the game until your offense can get going again.

They said on the ACC Network tonight that FSU has been averaging 85 ppg this season and that their previous low was 71. Tonight 47.....24 pts fewer than their previous low.
Plus ND outrebounded FSU 55-37, with almost all of that differential in the second half.
It really was like two seperate games.
I often sort of forget that KK Bransford is just a freshman. Latson has been gifted the ACC Freshman of the Year award, and maybe the national FOY, for most of the season. But Bransford really outplayed her tonight.

Having Sonia Citron guard you does that to players. Poor Latson was not the first this season.
Prosper doesn't appear to have an outside shot yet, and she's not yet comfortable on the offensive end, but boy is she awesome on defense. Citron, KK, and Prosper provide excellent defense and next year Hannah Hildago will complement that. I don't want Miles playing tight defense because she is valuable on the offensive end to get early fouls.
