True, that would seem wise, but history demonstrates that some coach or GM will look only at the raw talent and will be convinced that with their own coaching brilliance they will be able to transform her into an intelligent, disciplined, team-oriented superstar. It happens all the time every year in every sport. And most of the time they predictably fail.

Hubris seems to be an all-too-common trait among professional sports coaches.
