This is the worst Tenn has played all year by far. Ugh.

A near tie at half 32 Ga and 31 Tenn. Jenna and Que leading Ga scoring with 10 and 11. Horston, Burrell and Dye leading Tenn.

Dye, Burrell, and Puckett need to get it in gear, Key needs to stop fouling so she can stay off the bench, and everyone needs to quit turning the ball over. More ugh.

52-47 TEN end of third
Somebody from TEN went to the lockerroom injured, but I’m not sure who, Green?

Yes, Green. Not sure what happened. Big problem for Tenn with Key in foul trouble.

Just ugh, all around, except for Horston who carried the team tonight. I hope Green is OK, she's really the only backup for Key who's frequently in foul trouble.

An ugly W is still a W. UGA makes you play ugly. Has for awhile now.

I was not a believer when Harper was hired, but I am very impressed with what Tennessee is doing this season.

Maybe because you didn't watch how Kellie recruited and coached at Missouri State. I did. And I remembered what Pat said about her. Pat was right.

Sigh. Thanks for the reminder to not bother complimenting or even talking about Tennessee on here. I'll return to that policy now.

I was a believer, but I'm still very impressed, particularly with the intangibles that she's managed to fix, like team cohesion, grit, and not giving up on themselves. This team also started the season in the best physical condition of any Tenn team I've seen in 10 years. And they never missed a step when they went down 2 starters before the first game of the season was over. KJH manages personnel very well.

So impressed with what she and her staff have done with Horston this season, too. Feels like things have finally started to really click with her and she's putting it all together. 19 points, 11 boards, 5 blocks, 4 assists, 3 steals, and only 2 turnovers yesterday.

Oh please. You sound like one of the UConn faithful now. I commented on how Kellie recruited and coached at Mo. State and that you didn't see it and you decided to help yourself to a heaping spoonful of umbrage? Get over yourself, please.
What Pat said about Kellie was that she was the smartest player she ever coached and that she would not be at all surprised to see her back at Tennessee someday. She said this at a postgame show. I was in the audience at the time and heard it. I believe she was right. That's all.

I’m a little surprised at Harper’s current success considering her tenure at NC State was not good.

Uh.....that was a LONG time ago. She was just getting started. And anybody succeeding Kay Yow would have suffered. She had plenty of time to mature at Mo. State...and she did.
