It is past time to do this, but just like in the W, one doesn't want to drop their #1 pick and look silly...but she has earned this. Actually I think some of it is Wes Moore's 'fault' but what to do:

edited to add Alnatas game today (still long way down the alt list) and the date of Longwood's Upstate game.

And yeah, I looked long and hard at Lexi Held too.

Myrtle, as I’m actually watching Alnatas tonight, I feel like it’s only fair I get her stats against you instead of Ezeudu’s. What a nice game from her though! I’m only…kidding…mainly because of her shooting……

I saw the stats. If only she didn't get those TOs. And if only your girl shot a better %. You always have to hope the good out weighs the bad. Were you at the game?

I was at the game! I’m one of the few season ticket holders for DU—definitely plenty of space to hide from other people at the game and distance. In any case, it didn’t feel like Alnatas had that many turnovers during the game and she definitely imposed her will driving past any DU defender. The refs also were calling things very tight—hence the parade to the FT line.

I see Ezeudu went to the line a lot again… in last week’s games she was playing against the benches for both South Dakota and South Dakota State. What’s horrible though is that the Summit League hands out POW based only on points, so when she gets it because of her points, they don’t consider that she’s playing against the end of the bench in blowout losing effort after blowout losing effort.

To be fair, DU played most of the game this time against Kansas City's main lineup until Alnatas and their primary post were in foul trouble. I can't really speak to previous weeks and why a certain criteria was chosen.

For the record here, my rules are as follows:

1. If a main player has another game, please play them in the first available game for the week.
2. If an alternate player is listed and needed, please play them in their first eligible game for the week.

I was too lazy to go and look at all the games this week.

I know Johnson's stats aren't quite as gaudy this season for fantasy purposes but she's still one of my favorite players to watch. Just so electric! Despite putting up 0 points in the first half tonight, NCSt simply wouldn't have made that comeback in the 4Q without her pushing the pace.

yes agree. she is dynamic and really fun to watch. It's why I kept her so long, plus I kept thinking she would break out. But it's almost like Wes only plays her enough minutes when he really needs to. If she stays there, she will get a lot more time on the floor next year.

Yeah, we had talked briefly at some point—seems like Cooper had just had a lot going on with family, friends, and work—so it’s been tough to have time for this. They’re hopefully continuing to muddle through.

Myrtle, looks like you’ll trounce me as my players are….erm….not performing. It’s clearly performance anxiety against Miracles.

In any case, I’m starting to think about tweaks for next year, and I’m sorry that I haven’t posted a weekly summary this week—I’ve been busy!

Adam has Ayoka Lee, but he sadly started her in her other game this week!

--

Here's my lineup for next week. I'm a bit apprehensive about playing Kierstan Bell because she played limited minutes last week after tweaking her knee. But what am I going to do -- not play my #1 pick?? Crying or Very sad

Starting Lineup for "Week" 11: 1/25-1/31

G: S. Gonzales, BYU vs. Santa Clara, 1/27 [or 1/29 vs. San Francisco]
G: D. Fair, Buffalo vs. Northern Illinois, 1/29 [or 1/26 vs Ball State]
F: J. Dickey, Delaware @ UNCW, 1/26 [or 1/28 @ W&M, not 1/30 @ Elon]
F: A. Fowler, Portland @ Pepperdine, 1/29 [not 1/27 @ San Diego]
C: A. Williams, Jackson St vs. Grambling St, 1/29 [or 1/31 vs. Southern]
U: V. Burton, Northwestern vs. Illinois, 1/30 [or 1/28 vs. Iowa]
U: K. Pointer, LSU @ Arkansas, 1/27 [or 1/30 vs. Kentucky]
U: K. Spruill, La Salle @ Duquense, 1/30 [or 1/26 @ St. Bonaventure]

Alternates in order, not by position:
N. Smith, Baylor @ Texas Tech, 1/26 [or 1/29 @ WV]
G. Berger, Indiana vs. Illinois, 1/27 [not the Michigan game]
A. Brockmeyer, SoIll @ Evansville, 1/29 [or 1/27 @ Indiana St]
T. Paopao, Oregon vs. USC, 1/30 [or vs Utah, or vs. UCLA]
C. Gfeller, Montana @ Idaho, 1/27

Annnnndddd Bell is out with a torn meniscus. Crying or Very sad

Which means she's moving to my IR. Will sort out a replacement later. Spruill moves into the starting lineup I just posted.

I was going to say you could do what I did with my #1.
But that was before I knew it was a torn meniscus. Still I would be exceedingly surprised if she's back before the end of the season. I had one of these and it took more than six months for even a semblance of normalcy...but that was back in the dark ages so they're probably way better at fixing it now.
