Watching the new guns integrate nicely with the old guns was a highlight for me. Haven't seen the Terps in person since fall of 2019, glad to have the W in my first game back.

After last night's UCONN/GT game, do we think the Huskies will fall in the AP poll as much as the Terps did after their 2 losses? After all, we were missing key players too, but our losses came to ranked teams, and this loss was to an unranked team.

In other news, I'm excited for Sunday's game against South Carolina. Go Terps!

Should they, yes, will they, unlikely. I could see them moving to #6, just behind Arizona, neck and neck with Louisville who they'll play next week. It also depends how they look against UCLA. If their current lineup can show more cohesion, voters might be more forgiving of the GA Tech performance.

How about Indiana who had extremely close losses to Stanford and NC State yet dropped from #4 to #10 during that time. Rolling Eyes

Even if we ignore yesterday's game vs. Michigan, it still feels like the Terps should be playing better than they are. They have the same nucleus from last year, plus the reveal of Angel Reese and Shayenne Sellers, so what is going on?

I still feel confident that the team can make a deep run in the NCAA tournament, hoping that the loses will serve as motivation later in the season. Am I wrong to feel this way?

This year's Maryland team looks almost as consistent as Kentucky, who got slammed just as badly by Tennessee. Maryland should be playing better, even without Masonius.

I agree. Which is why I'm worried about how the rest of the season will go.

Lavender Briggs transferring in from Florida. Originally sent the transfer portal last summer when everything Cam Newbauer was Initially given a contract extension. When he was let go she returned to the gators.

You are correct.
Hopefully, they rediscovered some of their mojo against Northwestern today.
