Maryland seems really short staffed to me. Mimi Collins isn't all that great but it seems she's the only 'big' they have. They could also definitely use their Diamond this year if she ever comes back.

Purdue was even more short staffed tonight! They were without their two best players -- guard Madison Layden and center Ra'shaya Kyle. Reasons cited in this article were "illness" and "leg," respectively.

Non-COVID illness, specifically.
Even though this ended up a double-digit loss, still a really bright spot for Purdue. The talent level is still not what Purdue fans were used to before Versyp fully destroyed the program, the last season to this season is like night and day. I was skeptical of the Gearlds hire, but she has made a huge difference this season. The future seems brighter than it has in a long time.
