I thought there would be a thread in here about it already but I can't find one. If someone knows of one, please enlighten me. I'm just tryna to fathom why? And yeah, I know it's her life, her choice. Still though...

the thing about Liz is that her 'zero interest' may not be the same in six months.

Has anyone actually subscribed to see what she's, uh, 'offering' to her subscribers? I imagine not everyone on there is doing what has made the place famous.

I've seen a few photos on Reddit. Racy but not pornographic.

This thread seems needlessly moralistic.

If I weren't so cheap, I'd do it.

To answer the question of why, perhaps just 🗣🎵makin' money moves🤪🎶, but also to help further her branding. Now, one can argue starting an OnlyFans will not in any way/shape/form actually help her branding, but maybe she sees it the opposite way. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

As long as we don't ever come across a clip of her performing any, erh, acts like that one time with... nvm.

After watching this, I'm not confident Liz is returning to the WNBA.

What she said to the Nigerian team was so disrespectful and offensive, the Opals won't share a court with her.

If the Opals feel that way, and everyone in the WNBA knows an Opal...

It's about a lot more than the Opals. How do Chelsea Gray and Aja Wilson feel about whatever she said?

Liz has always been about Liz. I thought I remembered her having to stay close to her mother or have her close because of her insecurities. Now it would seem she has conquered those insecurities or successfully controlling them. I'm from an older generation. The things people are proud of getting famous/infamous for these days were a career killer/ badge of shame back in the day. But oh well, times have apparently changed. Best of luck with that to her..

I wonder how it got from this to that:

I don't know. The Aces have been pretty tolerant of a player who assaulted a former GF then threatened to shoot someone, and who was arrested for burglary, assault, and aggravated assault with a firearm for that incident. I can't imagine that what Liz did/said on the court was worse.

Did Riquna's actions personally insult any of her teammates? All of her behavior problems were limited to her personal life. I've heard no complaints about her being a locker room terror or bully on the court.

Liz is a different issue entirely.

The segment in the video clears up the nature of Liz's behavior towards the Nigerian team. We're not talking about everyday trash talk or aggression here. The fact that Ezi in particular was effected by it means Liz was saying hateful xenophobic things specifically about Nigerians.

Liz is already known for being a high maintenance player. Now there's a new condition for coaches and GMs to meet. She can't be on a roster with Australian or Nigerian players. That doesn't give Bill a lot of room to work with unless he shares Liz's bias against Nigerian players.

Ezi is a very quiet, humble, gracious young player. The last thing she wants is to be the center of some drama like this. But Liz's behavior had to be bad enough she couldn't brush it off. Bad enough that her and her teammates were willing to sacrifice their chance at an Olympic medal. These are fierce competitors we're talking about. That's not a decision they would make lightly. I wouldn't be surprised if the Aus-Nigerian exhibition game was not an isolated incident. The exhibition game may have been the last straw for Liz's teammates. The fact they had to speak with their players' association suggests their organization turned a blind eye to Liz's behavior.

I guess our standards of behavior are different. I personally find it more egregious to threaten to kill someone with a gun than any type of verbal insult, racially-based or not.

Given that Liz is half-Nigerian, I doubt that Bill has a bias against Nigerians, although he may well decide his tolerance for her frequent behavioral issues has reached its limit.

Hmmm...I didn't know that she was half Nigerian. Half something, I just didn't know what. I don't know what her relationship with her father is nor her family members from Nigeria. Figuring out what those relationships are like might shed some light on her behaviour towards the Nigerian team.

Also, I'm giving Liz the benefit of the doubt by saying it's about xenophobia and ethnicity.

Because if it's not about that, then it's about colorism. And if that's the case, that's gonna be a much bigger problem for Liz and everyone around her.

And again, I don't think Ezi and her teammates would've taken action unless the situation was extreme. They just aren't the type of players who would want to attract drama.

I agree with this. Given that Jenna O'Hea is the captain of the Opals and also a good friend of Cambage and played with her for years and years in Australia. If she had a role in this then it must have been pretty bad or a summary of multiple incidents that even she couldnt protect her from.

I'm still wilding about how this thread was started with the intent of @hyperetic clutching their pearls, over Cambage having an OnlyFans, and turned into an "Everybody Hates Liz" thread in, like, three posts. Are y'all trying to horn in on my racket?

IDK. She certainly has a lot of haters. Every other female athlete that I can think of, from Chamique Holdsclaw to Simone Biles, has received tons of sympathy when they've opened up about their mental health issues. Liz gets nothing but abuse.

BTW, the OnlyFans photos which have appeared online are about as risque as the Victoria Secret catalog.

Yeah, she'd already done lingerie shoots with Savage Fenty so this basically looks like she's monetising the same stuff directly. No big deal, and the fact that it's via OnlyFans just helps sell it and turn it into a newspaper story all over the place.

She does have plenty of fans and defenders if you go on twitter or wherever. There are lots of people sick of her but there are also lots who enjoy or support essentially the same stuff.

I was just trying to figure out the context! Because "why, Liz?" always seems to have multiple applications when it comes to Cambage.

(I still maintain it would be hilarious if her OnlyFans just contained highlights of her making sick post plays and blocking shots into the fifth row, set over the music one would expect from more prurient content.)
