Wow. She did it with blocks too! Myrtle shall learn the error of her ways and come to the dark side soon.

That appears to have been one Tight-But-Ugly game....36 TOs?

Not as Tight-But-Ugly as FIU losing to Jacksonville 33-36. I've been keeping up with FIU just to see how my 12th round pick Kyla Nelson (who I've since dropped) is doing. The two teams shot a combined 24-91 from the field, 3-32 from three, 17-27 from the line, and 37 turnovers. Jacksonville scored 10+ points in only one quarter, yet still won the game. Shocked

I watched part of it. It was indeed ugly. Played in what looked like a HS gym with way fewer people in the stands than my local HS (which is in a town of two thousand). One of the Longwood girls is apparently from a nearby town so the 20 people or so who came to watch her were louder than the home 'crowd'. Kinda sad really. But one of the announcers went ballistic when his team won with a putback at the buzzer. That cracked me up. Sounded like they had just won a championship.

HoopSSSMom with a fabulous game from Katelyn Young last night. 10-10 from the floor to go with a pedestrian 13 rebounds. What a fabulous way to start off the week.

Fabulous pick-up HoopSmom, especially considering that she wasn't even your first choice! Razz Maybe K. Young read RebKell's and wanted to put some respect on her name. Cool

Undersized would like to talk to you about Jasmine Dickey and his inability to play her in the right game.

Such a marvel that it happens a lot in this league where the coach can’t pick the right game for their player.

Unfortunately one of my opponents for the week, ucbart, got a fantastic game out of Rickea Jackson tonight: 40pts on 18-26 shooting along with 9reb, 2ast, 2stl, and 1blk. Shocked I think I'm toast...

it's one of the weirdnesses of this version of fantasy. One super good game or one nasty bad game can often seal your fate for the week.

Cooper, you have 3 Utility players left to post. They can play any position against anyone this week.

Oh yay!

Lexie Hull(Texas 11/14)
Tamari Key(UCF 11/12)
Nyara Sabally(Idaho State 11/9)

I guess this is it?

Partially! Since Cooper hasn't posted a lineup since that first week, we've been using it as his lineup for each new week but making substitutions in the case that a team doesn't play or a player is injured. For every player, we've been taking their first game in the week.
Last week we used:
Brink
Hull
Staiti
Koranga
Dye
Key
Horston
Krimilli

Since Stanford doesn't play this week, eliminating Brink and Hull, I believe we'll have to sub them for two of Emily Ryan, Sara Puckett, Diamond Miller, and Nyara Sabally -- whoever the first two are to play. It will probably end up being Ryan and Puckett since Miller and Sabally have been dealing with injuries.

Coyotes can chime in if I'm wrong Exclamation

Might need replace? Seems pretty tuff to run 2 teams in this kind of league

Laughing Laughing I knew taking a Mizzou player would be bad karma...and it was. She had her worst game of the year so she gets the boot. Not that I like A&M much better but what to do? Can't be worse.
Waive Hayley Frank, Mizzou

I hear you. I just want to clarify though that his team isn't being run by any of us in the sense that roster transactions or strategic decisions are being made regarding who to start and in which games. We're just using the first game possible from the starting lineup he already had. And if a starter doesn't have a game that week, we sub in the first eligible game from his bench. So it's essentially a computerized team at this point until Cooper returns.

Roger that! Sure you don't want to take her in the UConn game tonight? Twisted Evil

I'm on a break so did a very quick scan of the vol nation board and the 2 or 3 threads i glanced over, I didn't see any posts by Cooper either. Hopefully it's the the business of the holidays and nothing serious

That game against Iona was actually canceled (at least as per SHU; Iona still seems to think it can be rescheduled)

Well, considering that Espinoza is out tonight, Lauren Park Lane will have to have a game of herculean efforts for Seton Hall to beat UConn.

I see Henderson for South Carolina didn’t play in their game vs Kansas State. How do i go about replacing her in my lineup?

Do you have a player who has yet to play that you'd like to play over the next few days?
