!!/9 UVA @ JMU in the all-new AUBC!

Don't now if y'all are aware but so far UVA has NO commits for 2022. They have ONE freshman on their team. Something isn't right over there.

Something really isn't...kinda crazy. That is a GREAT school (academics, campus, facilities, etc) in a great league in an area that is simply loaded with talent.

I'm excited just to be watching Tenn's exhibition game tonight against D-II Georgia College. Very Happy

Just realized that GC's coach is Kellie Harper's brother.

I have to wait a few more days than the rest of these games.

Georgia vs Gardner-Webb on November 11!

Marquette has their first game on Tuesday - woo hoo! It's a tough day for me personally so happy to have the basketball game to look forward to.

I finally got St. John's to take the money I tried to throw at them for my tickets! I've never dealt with a school that cared so little about trying to sell season tickets, I swear. At this point literally the only reason I still force myself to support St. John's is proximity.

I had to contact the ticket office at Marquette less than a week before the first game to find out where my season tickets were. They went to all digital tickets this year but hadn't bothered to notify the season ticket holders of this. Usually when I do call the ticket office, they just tell me they are busy with stuff for Men's basketball - ugh.

I have to give a shout out to Denver University. I talked to a very pleasant sales rep there who shared my excitement about Coach Woods, and helped me to get my season tickets there.

Sadly, with my quarantine in place now, I'll be missing the home opener against....*checks schedule* The University of Missouri......Science and Technology. Hm. Well, I'll just look forward to joining in the fun when they play Colorado State in a few weeks!

Ahhhh, YES -- FINALLY!! We return to the scholarly young ladies of the NCAA, whose innocence and naivete are such a refreshing change of scenery from the jaded, corrosive nature of the hardened pros....no, wait....that was just pilight, shades and silky. Razz

Never mind. Laughing

JMU plays UVA at the new AUBC tonight. Even though soph Peyton McDaniel is dubious for tonight and I don't know the status of Kiki Jefferson, who tweaked her knee in last week's exhibition against Shepherd, I think we can give the Cavs a good game. Third in the CAA, my sainted Aunt Matilda.

Maryland has a pretty soft OOC until they get to Baylor. Maybe even Baylor, without Kim and a bunch of key players. Yes, I'm including JMU, who is "soft" for them.
