Controversial foul on Bonner, who bloodied DD.

Ruled a flagrant....the correct call would have been a foul on DD, who went for a steal as DB held the ball high. DD went into DB's space, and when DB brought the ball down, her elbow met DD's forehead.

What a joke.

I was watching it on Twitter for a change, which meant I can't post and watch at the same time. Had to mute the audio though, as one broadcaster had their audio too high and the other had theirs too low. Razz

With that, I missed all the analysis of the incident, but to me it also looked like it happened as you described it Confused

I pretty much agree. I've copped a very similar one. Up-and-in on defence, reached for the ball, elbow to the face, lots of blood. Foul on me. Which was the right call. Bonner unlucky.
Pretty unconvincing win by the Sky but a W is a W.

I was there, and people in my section also believe that it was just a regular basketball play. I'm glad we came away with the win, although it was touch-and-go for most of the game. Nice ending for us, all came together those last few minutes for the most part. Let's carry that momentum into our last home game for a while on Saturday!
