Out of the Big 3, Skylar has been playing very well.

BG..... I have mixed feelings. When she gets the ball, she does good things but when she doesn't she's just not present. At all. I know this is a common theme but like.... Sandy please do her a favor and sit her arse on the bench in those moments.

Diana..... She's been struggling too.

The lack of bench is really doing us in. Someone else could've had Sophie's job. Burdick could've came in too.

Phoenix.... Fire Sandy Brondello.

This! She's just not hitting them. Honestly, she's not hitting anything right now.

I miss Bria.

Between Hartley, Walker, Nurse, and Vaughn is Phoenix the destination for Liberty retreads Laughing

Very Happy Laughing It seems like it to me.

I thought that was rather bizarre. Can't call fouls on a GOAT. So if your a GOAT and you miss a free throw, do they count it anyway?

I don't agree. How long has Sandy been coaching this team?

But you're right. It's only game 2 and Bria and Kia are missing. I'll let her live. For now.

That's what they were saying? I thought they were saying as the GOAT, it's okay to get after the refs when they are officiating poorly. Maybe I was in the Twilight Zone and completely concocted that in my head.

Sandy has been coaching team since 2014 and Mercury have made playoffs every year. We def. wed a stronger bench.... smith and Cunningham need to go. Brittany needs to perform like the mvp caliber player she is capable of or Mercury so trade her. We played better last year without her.

I was thinking the same thing and BG really needs to toughen up out there.

Oh, but when I said it, Mercury fans/Griner stans formed like Voltron to call me a hater, and everything else... I peep game.

I hope they do trade her. I really do. She seems to be what's wrong with the team according to so many people. Therefore, trade her to a team with a better coaching staff and a better bench.

Sandy said herself that she wasn't playing the type of offense that revolved around BG anymore. Therefore, trade her. But in this game, when she did get the ball, it was effective so.... Shrug. Please trade her to a better coach.

Busy at work and unable to watch even a second of this game Sad
I had a feeling it would be one I could live without seeing though. Winning 2 winnable games in a row is not what the Phoenix Mercury is all about these days.

(but yes - we are very used to both DT technicals and BG foul trouble)

Looks like the "W" needs to correct the box score of this game. I don't remember Alyssa Thomas playing. Also FYI Jasmine Thomas was out due to COVID Protocol.

Until they talked about their next NESN broadcast, I thought this was the Mercury's announcing crew with as much kissing of Taurasi's ass as they were doing. CALL THE GAME. Just... stop getting distracted by how long Taurasi's been in the league and call the game.

Also, can you really call Megan Walker a Liberty retread if she barely treaded for us?

As far as I’m concerned, the WNBA season hasn’t officially started until DT picks up a tech.

How many times will they regale us with the anecdote about Bird being old enough to be Herbert-Harrigan's mother?

1.Why fire a coach who has went to the playoffs each year?

2. Everyone that watches the Mercury knows that it takes this team a few games to get things together. It drives you crazy but seems to happen no matter who the coach is.

3. Mercury fans are just going to have to accept that BG just isnt that type dominant player. Its just not in her. As much as many would like that to be the case, it is what is is. She is 9 years in. Although she has improved a good deal, she is not a dominant player nor is she physical. Since this is the case, I don't blame Sandy for not making her the go to player in the offense.
