so...if Strickland just tested positive, as was implied earlier, does this game still happen?

I assumed they were correcting the misspelling of Stricklen’s name

When fucking around meets finding out... My favorite part is how she says she thinks that her being the only one on the team who got it was part of a conspiracy.
She should be entitled to a refund from Middle Tennessee State.

Tru 👏🏼 ly 👏🏼 Oh lord, not her thinking it's all one big coincidence. Seriously people, covid ain't that deep of a concept when we're now Month #14 into the national pandemic. It's certainly still not spreading through 5G networks...
And I hate to bring this up, but, uhh, lest we forget: She did get kicked out of MTSU for "smoking marijuana and failing a subsequent drug test."

OOF.
Well anyway, please get well soon, Cheyenne.

So are Christy Winters Scott and Frank Hanrahan calling the game or just the Twitter "studio hosts"? No natural sound from the floor?

Still nothing for you? I was able to get it. I don't like that all the audio is the commentators though. Let's hear the arena!

Don't love this format and I usually enjoy CWS's commentary.

I agree. CWS is a good one, but this format/audio makes it seem like the game is an afterthought to the talk. Sports nets for the past year have been able to effectively have announcers from remote locations.

It feels like all the energy of a podcast about random general bball topics with a game playing in the background and sometimes mentioned. Sigh.

Head scratcher that whoever is doing the Twitter broadcast thinks that two announcers watching from home should be shown during the game picture-in-picture.

Same thought same time.
Everyone has made remote broadcasts work in every sport.
Seems the planned format not the remote - probably someone's idea to broaden the appeal of the game by talking about a nothing but the game.
Now yelly create fake energy dude in wcbb makes me nuts but there has to be a happy medium... I love this guy's voice but he is so low energy it is like a relax me to sleep thing.

I'm sure Sylvia Crawley has some good things to say, but, there is a game going on. They can talk to her at halftime.
With the Emory commercial coming on, this looks like it is being produced for TV and Twitter is talking over it. I thought I saw ATL announcers at the beginning. What's going on with this?

A playoff team vs. a lottery team.

I blame Michael Cooper. Instead of drafting Jonquel Jones he traded the pick to Connecticut for Elizabeth Williams. Swap those two and this game is entirely different.

Hardly his most aggregious GM disaster trade for the Dream.
