Amazon and the WNBA reached a multi-year agreement giving Prime Video exclusive global streaming rights to 16 WNBA games per season. The deal will feature a streamed game each week during the regular season, as well as the inaugural Commissioner’s Cup game on Aug.12.

I hope exclusive doesn’t mean it’s yet another game you can’t stream live on League Pass.

Ok. they really have to lower the price of League Pass now. It's essentially an archive only.

I'm glad for the diverse platforms of games being avat now as that is better for league growth than League Pass is.

Oh I’m pumped! Between my prime membership, Hulu live, and league pass(it’ll be my first year) I’m all in this season!

Also it helps the league financially and with regards to their visibility! Keep pushing the product of the W! I hope for a wonderful season and that every us or becomes healthy. Let’s show them what the W really is about.

Anyone know how you will access these games? I have Amazon Prime but I have no clue where to even go to watch something live on Amazon.

Based on the live sport they've had rights to over here (some Premier League soccer, French Open tennis etc.) it'll be pretty obvious once we get close to the games. Just go to the front page of the Prime Video section and there'll be banners and links all over the place.

Here’s the 16 games that Amazon supposedly has exclusive streaming rights.
Saturday, May 29 – Atlanta @ New York, 2 p.m. ET
Friday, June 4 – Dallas @ Seattle, 10 p.m. ET
Saturday, June 12 – Chicago @ Indiana, 1 p.m. ET
Wednesday, June 16 – Phoenix @ Los Angeles, 10:30 p.m. ET
Tuesday, June 22 – Chicago @ New York, 7 p.m. ET
Wednesday, June 30 – Las Vegas @ Los Angeles, 10:30 p.m. ET
Thursday, July 1 – Connecticut @ Indiana, 7 p.m. ET
Wednesday, July 7 – Phoenix @ Las Vegas, 10 p.m. ET
Saturday, July 10 – Washington @ Chicago, 8 p.m. ET
Tuesday, August 17 – Minnesota @ Connecticut, 7 p.m. ET
Friday, August 20 – Seattle @ New York, 7 p.m. ET
Thursday, August 26 – Dallas @ Washington, 7 p.m. ET
Tuesday, August 31 – New York @ Minnesota, 8 p.m. ET
Thursday, September 2 – New York @ Seattle, 10 p.m. ET
Tuesday, September 7 – Connecticut @ Dallas, 8 p.m. ET
Thursday, September 16 – Los Angeles @ Atlanta, 7 p.m. ET

For me, picking up a free month trial on August 17 would work out great.

Seriously? It sucks for fewer games to be available live, but at $17/year it's practically free.

I'm not really complaining. I consider my league pass sub as a donation to the league but with the majority of games blacked out, what's the point in league pass at this point?
