Finally an interesting cut.

yeah, I was thinking we're about to the more interesting ones...

It was a predictable cut, but it’s hard to say what’s predictable for ATL anymore. Have they established who is making the personnel decisions over there?

I would think she could’ve been cut a lot sooner, but I suppose they were hoping to find a trade partner for her? If nobody wanted to make a reasonable trade for Sims, didn’t seem likely to happen for Turner either.

Yeah I am not sure of the sequence but once Sims and SWK were added to the roster in Atl Turner's days were numbered. I wouldn't even be surprised if she got the early cut so maybe she could get picked up by someone else. Atl still has Cowling, Davis, Pulliam and Bradford and I am not sure any of them had a better chance at the final roster than Turner.

Atl is pretty easy to map out unless they trade SWK (who seems like a lock to me for the final roster ATM especially now that Atl is playing her at the 2 and the 3, maybe Stricklands becomes a stretch 4 in the new line up sometimes) and can go with 12

Carter/McDonald
C. Williams/Sims
Hayes/SWK/Strickland
Hawkins/Billings
Ch. Parker/E. Will

my question is are any of the Atl cuts worth picking up
I could definitely see someone taking a chance on K. Brown

pretty much expect Alexander, Pivec, Vaughn, and Lott to follow. But then who is the last cut?

Do they have to cut a player before they make them into a replacement player? There’s probably better players that will be hitting the waiver wire but these players won’t be trained to their system, not that two weeks training does that much good.

Should we assume this is the end for KD? Sucks but she has not gotten better with all the potential in the world she continues to get cut by the leagues bottom feeders. Yes I’m talking about my own team as well.

It takes more than talent to succeed at this level.

Wings temporarily suspend Satou Sabally, clearing her roster spot (but not her salary hit) until she is available for the team

I guess she lost some of her sparkle, glitter, and luster. Wink

I can't forget when the long ago "Farkle family" SNL skits included a character named Sparkle Farkle.

No surprises yet; and I doubt there really will be.

Connecticut's already down to their opening day roster ... or they're paring down early with hopes of being able to pick some kind of upgrade from the waiver wire...their bench is that weak. Also gonna be confusing having 3 Jones' on the same team .

Looks like Sug Sutton and Stella Johnson will both make the roster in Washington with Alleyne, McCall and Plaisance still in contention for the last post spot....uness they're keeping 6 posts which would make me think they're going to play Delle Donne at the 3. Might be a less physical transition for her to get back into game shape.

I believe Connecticut are down to 12, but that's not their final roster. Doesn't even come close to fitting under the cap without removing one more.

Minnesota appears to be down to 12 as well, but will also need to cut one more
