A Utah commit from Minnesota, Gianna Kneepkens, scored 67 pts in her last high school game, a Minnesota high school record.

At the end they show Kneepkens crying. She cared more about her team losing than she did about the record score.
This video also shows that there’s no excuse for college players to not wear masks during play. It’s obviously required at the Minnesota high school level.

The fact that a seventh grader could score 34 should tell you all you need to know about the level of competition ...
The best players in Minnesota play for Hopkins ...

Scott Rueck only has 7 players on next years roster including incoming crown Kampschroeder and oft sidelined Andrea Acquino. Savannah Samuels followed Goforth out the door so backcourt is pretty depleted.

Continuing this deviation from the thread, Hopkins was defeated in semi final action by Chaska.

Chaska remained unbeaten by slipping past Rosemount in the 4A final, 45-43. Minnesota, as mentioned, is loaded with D-1 talent this year.

I think he has more than seven unless someone else has left. He has pretty good depth for bigs: Jones, Brown, Corosdale, and Mitrovic even if Acquino remains out of commission. Ellie Mack could also decide to stay another year. He will have VanOelhoefen as his lead guard and presumably Kampschroeder as a wing. I see Simmons is gone as well. They have Mannen who hardly played at all this year. That's really thin at guard but maybe he can find one or two in the portal. Guards are easier to find than good bigs.

Stanford: If they get weaker in the wake of Williams turning pro, it won't be by much.
Arizona: Perhaps the biggest ? in the conference next season without McDonald, but the cupboard is certainly not bare.
UCLA: Much more depth for next season with some intriguing new commits, but will it lead to a Final Four? Could it even?
Oregon: With presumably a tighter rotation, Oregon should be able to at least compete for the top spot next season.
Oregon State: They won't be returning many players, but at least if they add a couple guards, that should be enough for another Tourney berth.
Colorado: Make-or-break year for JR Payne. Hollingshed returning is a big boost, but it's been time to contend for a Tourney berth.
Washington State: Charlisse Leger-Walker is no longer a surprise talent. How does Kamie Ethridge keep WSU & the players on the up-and-up?
USC: So when exactly is this talented group of players supposed to start achieving things? Tumult & wasted talent is nothing new for this school.
Arizona State: They were pretty young this past season, but is it time to start wondering if Charli Turner Thorne has taken this Final Four-less program as far as it can go under her?
Utah: How Roberts is still the coach given the talents she's had & then lost, with the Utes projected to have another bad year, is beyond me.
Washington: It's a(nother) new era in Seattle. First things first: which players will ultimately stay, and will Tina Langley be able to coax any interesting transfers to the program before November?
California: The Bears should be better over the next couple seasons, so long as Charmin Smith is able to keep her young talent in Berkeley – at least until they graduate...

Thank you for this run-down! Just to support your point regarding Stanford, Williams was far from her best in the E8, FF, or Finals, yet Stanford still won. So I feel like Stanford will compete at the same level. But will they have another gear is the question.
Just an interesting storyline for Arizona/UCLA---this match-up will feature two former starters and teammates playing against each other, as both Bendu Yeaney and Jaelynn Penn have now transferred out of Indiana. Will be interesting to see how prominent of a role they each play.

If we get Anna Wilson back (she still hasn't said) I think we will be ok. But without her, our guard core is pretty weak.

I know Stanford's championship is only a week old, but I've been thinking about this a lot. Stanford is absolutely loaded at 3-4-5, but guard play will be an issue. I think Oregon could win the Pac-12 next year.

Ellie Mack HAS decided to stay. Great news for Beav fans.

That may be the only time Noelle Mannen ever gets mentioned on the Rebkell board. She's a non-scholarship walk-on.

When I open this thread (and only this thread) all text is formatted differently and makes it hard to read. If a poster is quoting a previous text, that text is offset and 8 have to scroll over to the right to read the entire post. It’s only about n this thread that this is happening.

It might be your computer or browser. No problems here.
