It never crossed my mind that this was a disclaimer that needed to be included in my post. I would have thought that it was the sort of thing that would go without saying. Fine, I'll re-phrase, for the benefit of the people who need to have their hands held: If they put a WNBA team anywhere in TN, and they don't exhaust every possible effort to get the family to allow them to name the team the Summit, somebody should be fired.

Sorry, wasn't a shot at you. Merely intended at a lighthearted nudge at the people who named a women's basketball website The Summit and quietly and very quickly changed it for an unstated reason. |

I wouldn't get your hopes up: I don't root for any one team, and I don't really pay attention to college basketball, so my interest in the draft ain't but so high. I'm usually finding out who these young women are, on draft day. Most of my interest in the draft comes from trade potential.
So, I'll most likely either be salty, from the jump, or not engaged, at all.
