Neither of these teams are known for their defense. But I know what you mean.
I think there were a number of times Iowa seemed to phone it in on the defensive end. Could be fatigue. Hawkeyes are on their 4th game and they had to work hard for the win yesterday. Maryland is only on 3rd game and nobody on Terps roster played more than 26 minutes yesterday.

Emotional and decisive win for Brenda. Truly a deserving choice for COY!
Terps led from the opening tip-off. Put up a century plus on Iowa.
Final 104-84.

Iowa's defensive game plan early was to allow Mimi Collins to take uncontested jumpshots from the outside. She made them pay for it.
As an Iowa fan, I'll be rooting for Maryland in the NCAAs!

As a Maryland fan, I’ll be rooting for Iowa to go far in the NCAA tournament.
Actually I’m hoping all the B1Gs do well! But I especially love Hawkeyes’ style of play and like “your” Coach B a great deal!

Thanks! I'll be rooting for all the B1Gs as well. I'm especially nervous for them all this year since there has been so much talk about how the B1G has more depth this year than ever before. If most of our teams lose in the first round it will burst that bubble and reflect poorly on all of us haha.
