Iowa State is shooting 48% to Texas' 29% in the 1st half, but trails 32-27 because Texas has taken 42 shot attempts to Iowa State's 26 attempts.
This is because Iowa State has 10 turnovers to only 1 for Texas - can't take or make shots if you keep giving the ball away. If they figure out how to reduce those turnovers they may take this game....

| Coming down to the wire, Texas up by 2 69-67 with a minute left to play, and Iowa State with the ball and a timeout. It would be a shame for Iowa State to lose this game shooting 55%...

| 69-69 held ball after two missed TX shots - Texas has possession. TX timeout with 19 seconds left in regulation. Will this go to overtime?? Texas is the team BY FAR in foul trouble - Collier has already fouled out, and two other primary Longhorn players have 4 fouls each....

They go to overtime tied at 69 pts each. Iowa State only has 7 total fouls as a team - no one on their roster has even 3 fouls. Collier has fouled out, and Taylor and Allen-Taylor have 4 fouls each for Texas.
Texas has taken 30 more shot attempts than Iowa State has in this game....

76-73 Texas a minute left to play in overtime. Iowa State with some questionable shot selections - they started taking 3-ptrs when they didn't have to, and have been shooting strongly inside the 3-pt line all game (55-ish%) - they were 2-2 in overtime, but now are 2-4 with 2 missed 3-ptrs - and Texas has two big players for them in foul trouble. Go at them and drive the basket. But they start heaving 3-ptrs and missing them....
Also they still are turning the ball over too much....

| Also don't know about Iowa State starter Kristen Scott - she has been the most effective 3-pt. shooter for the Cyclones today (3-5 from behind the 3-pt. line) but has been out of the game since I starting watching it. She's only played 25 minutes and only has 2 fouls. They could have used her 3-pt shooting if they were going to starting taking 3-pt. shots....

The Cyclones have now hit three straight 3-ptrs to pull within 1 83-82, but needed to foul Texas to stop the game clock. Time out Iowa State, with Texas having the ball, and just 5 seconds left. Foul quickly, hope for a miss at the FT line (TX is 7-8 there in OT), and try to at least tie with whatever time is left....
They foul with 2 seconds left - Texas makes 1, misses 2nd FT, Iowa State rebounds, but time runs off before they could take a shot.
Texas wins 84-82. A good game......

| Texas took 80 shots to 51 for IS and won by 2? The story is offensive boards and turnovers.

She was apparently battling some health issue, so her minutes were limited.
