Michigan is back!
The last time out, Naz had her 50 point/16 rebound game in the loss to Ohio State, 81-77, on January 21st. Leigha Brown was still out but was due back the next game. After a department-wide shutdown due to the new Covid strain, Michigan missed games against Purdue, Michigan State x2, Rutgers, Minnesota and Maryland.
Purdue, Michigan State and Minnesota were double-play opponents, and one of the MSU games was a rescheduled postponed game due to MSU’s pause. Rutgers and Maryland were single-play opponents.
I’d really love to see Michigan add those Maryland and Rutgers games back in somewhere, but unless the B1G completely reshuffles the schedule there’s no room to do so. U-M’s one break in the schedule is this weekend, and there’s only one team available - one that the Wolverines don’t need to reschedule.

Michigan’s sloppy start with so many turnovers was expected. 12-6 end of 1Q. Now it’s time to settle in.

I understand why Michigan started slowly. But Boilers not taking advantage? Doesn’t bode well for Purdue.

Purdue has only won one game since Christmas.
Michigan leads 31-24 at the half. Leigha Brown, playing her first game since January 3rd, is leading all with 13 points.

Michigan looking pretty rusty, but lucky for them, they’re up not playing one of the top tier teams.

46-35 end of 3Q. Michigan went cold, but Purdue’s bigs are in foul trouble.
